Many trips to GC but our first to Discovery Point; a lovely complex of condos right on the white sands of 7MB, truly paradise-like views especially from the upper floor condos.

The staff are exceptionally welcoming, helpful and obliging- nothing is too much trouble for them. Complex and rooms very clean, tidy and well maintained. All the suites are individually decorated and furnished, but all to a minimum standard- ours had an "island type" theme with lots of watercolours of aquatic life, shells and the like - pretty! Kitchen very well equipped - LOTS of gadgets, far more than we ever needed, but good to have available should you wish to make a gourmet meal (!). Gas grills located near the reception area for BBQ's - did not use them but they looked clean and in good shape. Complex close to shops, restaurants and supermarkets (be aware alcohol sold only at "liquor stores" which close early evening). Food, alcohol and dining fairly pricey but of good quality. Small "rinsing and hanging" area close to the laundry which was set up for scuba gear - very useful to clean and dry our kit after the day's diving.

All in all a very relaxing holiday place - well suited to those who want peace, quiet and a safe, friendly, low key destination.

We will certainly return.

We stayed in unit #11at Discovery Point Club April 12-20, 2008. It is tastefully decorated with cheerful colors in the common areas and in soothing pastels in the bedrooms. It is just such a happy place! (Several of the pictures on Discovery Point Club's website are of this unit.) This condo is in tip-top condition with lovely local artwork and the beds are extremely comfortable - we slept like babies! Everything you need for your "kitchen away from home" is available. I also must add that this unit has incredible views of the beautiful Caribbean ocean.
Discovery Point Club is located in an ideal spot on Seven Mile Beach with excellent snorkeling right out in front. The whole atmosphere is very relaxing at this location, whether it's by the pool, in the ocean or on the lanai. Another plus is that Ollie and her staff are so pleasant and always eager to be of assistance.

This is our 3rd time staying at Discovery Point Club and we have enjoyed it each time. This trip we rented a two bedroom 2 bath and brought along some friends who also enjoyed.
The condos are very comfortable, clean, and have beautiful views! Ollie the general manager is very responsive and her staff is pleasant.

Very good value for the money! We will definitely continue to stay at Discovery Point when we travel to Grand Cayman.

This was our first trip to the Cayman Islands, and we were not disappointed. The condo at Discovery Point was perfect for a family of four with two teenagers. The unit was the cleanest condo we have ever stayed in around the world! It was very comfortably outfitted, and easy to relax in. The master bed was one of the best we have ever slept on. There were plenty of chairs and umbrellas on the gorgeous beach, and the clean beach towels provided were a huge help. The beach was just perfect for relaxing, swimming and snorkeling. You can't ask for more beautiful water than what you find off Discovery Point's beach, and the snorkeling was awesome. It is an easy swim to Cemetery Beach, which has some of the island's best snorkeling. The nicely maintained pool was a big plus since you wash off the ocean's salt and comfortable relax on the beach after snorkeling. It was very quiet at all times, so you could rest, nap or sleep without disturbance. The staff was so gracious! Our housekeeper, Diane, was so great! She cared so much that we were happy with the cleanliness of the room and they we were enjoying our stay. With an attitude like that, we hope to visit again! Thanks to Discovery Point for a perfect vacation!
