“Nice Place to Hang, would be perfect with a view!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 3, 2014

We were staying at the Comfort Inn across the street and were looking for reasonably priced food and drinks, in addition to Stingers. The patio area at Coconut Joes beckoned us and after our first time there it became one of our favorite places to hang out. The food was good, and reasonably priced. The drinks were great and also reasonably priced. They have a happy hour with a rotating drink of the day, but to be honest the regular drink prices were so reasonable (by Cayman Standards) so we did not really bother with the happy hour drink of the day..

Of special note, though all the staff was friendly, we need to make note that Shelly, went above and beyond. She was always cheerful and engaging. We made sure to sit at the bar so we could chat with her. She was great at keeping conversation with both the locals and the tourists. This location attracts a lot of locals and they also treated the tourists nicely as well. Everyone seemed to be family here, even the tourists. We even got a hug from Shelly on our last day. We will surely be back!

“Gear bar”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 31, 2014 via mobile

Bar food was really good. An inexpensive place to spend the afternoon in the shade. Local people go here, so you know it is good. It would be perfect if you could see the water.

“Great fun!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 28, 2014 via mobile

Easily has been our favorite get away bar in the area. Staff is very accommodating and fun! Phil and Lee are great! The fajitas might be the best I've ever eaten! Really, all the food was excellent. Great TVs to watch sporting events!

“Ok breakfast”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 26, 2014

I like the outside seating but the whole place is kind of run down and dirty. The breakfast was fairly good and reasonably priced by island standards. I have not been there for lunch or dinner. It was not as good as it was a few years ago on our last trip there. No locals there, just tourists. Cimboco's down the road always seems to have lcals( a good sign IMHO) and much better coffee.
