“A Hidden Gourmet Gem off West Bay Road”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 8, 2012

What a surprise to discover this delightful Thai restaurant in an ordinary strip mall - just south of Seven Mile Shops on West Bay Road! Colorful Christmas light beckon the diner into a cozy interior with black tables and cheerful red linens. The walls are covered in pretty paintings as well as some lovely wall frescoes. There is a green glassed in garden sprinkled with twinkling lights at the back of the restaurant. The restaurant is clearly run by a very hospitable Thai family. The cuisine is authentic and it is superb. I ate a delightful dish of stir fried vegetables in a light soy sauce and my husband had a sit fry in a mild spicy sauce with chicken.. Many of the locals eat here, and I have been told that Thai Orchid has the best sushi in Georgetown. The restaurant was packed this past Friday night. Many of the customers knew each other. Clearly, this is a popular spot to dine on the island.

“Expected a little more from this Thai place”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 3, 2012

Went with family during vacation. Was ok, not amazing but the dishes tasted authentic Thai. The problem was the cost was about 3x what we pay for this stuff in the US. Not that we did not expect to pay more in Cayman, but 3x more for basically pad thai and one other dish? Would recommend but beware the prices are outta sight.

“Thai Splendid!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 2, 2012

If you love Thai and we do, you can't miss this little piece of paradise at the Queen's Court. A huge menu selection, great service and atmosphere. Reasonable prices. If this is your first Thai experience, you will be back,,, if we had had more time, we would have :)

“Great food and service!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 1, 2012

I have been to thai orchid many times. The food is consistently delicious. My favorite dish is the chicken phad prik - it bursts with delicious flavour! During my recent trip the other ppl in my party had the green curry chicken and the chicken and shrimp pad thai. They enjoyed their dishes and the portion sizes are large. Also the bread pudding desert is delicious! I would highly recommend this place if you want great thai food.

“Ok”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 27, 2011

As someone below just mentioned, the food was decent, but I honestly think it's a little over priced. Granted, it's probably not easy to import all the ingredients, but our experience there wasn't worth the price we paid imho..
