My boyfriend and I ordered food from here using the fine dine-in delivery service, which delivers food from various restaurants who don't deliver or may be too far for delivery. We ordered the shephards pie, bangers and mash, poutine and a side of mushy peas. However when we got the food, we were missing the yorkshire pudding that came with the bangers and we just received a container of regular whole peas.
We called fine dine-in and they contacted triple crown who they informed us insisted they gave us the right stuff and the chef's specifically called us liars. Normally we would let it slide and just cut our losses, but it was rather rude and unprofessional to say that to customers.
Giving them the benefit of the doubt we figured we should call them directly because maybe the people at fine dine-in were overexaggerating. When we called the woman we spoke to communicated with the chef's and insisted that we were lying and they sent everything over perfectly and there was no way there was any mistake. For 10 minutes the woman consistently insisted that we were liars and if we wanted we could buy another side of mushy peas. Then finally she said maybe she could send over an order, but then all of a sudden she told us the last delivery order was sent out 20 minutes ago. We asked to speak with the manager and she said there was no manager on staff and she won't be in work for 2 days but she can leave a note. We asked for the managers name and said we would just call the next day.
We really didnt care about the minor food mishap but anyone who has worked in customer service, or just has any common sense at all would know that you don't argue with the customer and insult them. She was ridiculously rude and her answers to our questions kept changing and she was just making excuses. Also the fact that she had the nerve to tell us we could PAY for another order was ridiculous! Why would we pay for another order to be sent over when we didn't even receive the right stuff in the first place! it is unprofessional to run a business with that being acceptable behavior and we will NEVER order from Triple Crown again.
And the food we got was good, nothing spectacular, the only reason i gave 2 stars instead of 1
