I loved the food at Alfresco's. My wife thought her lobster ravioli was the best she had on the island, but this place is small and very "diner like". However, if the weather is pleasant I cannot recommend Alfresco enough for its large patio dining five steps above the beach, an excellent beach, especially if solitude is your goal. The staff was friendly allowing me to "run a tab" while I swam the afternoon away ordering Caybrew after Caybrew. And then, after a hot day of sunning, Alfresco's homemade ice cream cooled me off. With the sea being the attraction as much as the food I'd strongly suggest it for lunch or perhaps a moonlit night. Again, not fancy nor large but very good food from their kitchen if you dine Alfresco. (An insider's tip, Alfresco is located a short way up the road from Dolphin Discovery and the Turtle Farm, so take in those attractions in the morning and have lunch and an afternoon on the beach at Alfresco's.)
