We chose the Turtle Nest Inn for our lodging for our first visit to Grand Cayman and we were not disappointed! We stayed in Condo #7 and enjoyed having lots of quiet, space and privacy to ourselves! Many days we were the only ones out on the beach or by the pool! The condo was spotless and well stocked with EVERYTHING you need! Thank you to Martha for her friendliness and hospitality!

Tips: stop at the grocery store and pick up a few food essentials; bring water shoes as the beach is sandy, but once in the ocean, there are some rocks/coral; highly recommend eating at Chester's Jerk Chicken Shack just down the road - excellent! If you are a light sleeper, you may want to bring earplugs and a night shade for your eyes.... the sun comes in the bedroom early and the chickens start crowing early, too!

We stayed at TNI from 9th - 16th March. Martha, Alain & Marliene were wonderful hosts.
The condo was comfortable and had all the amenities that we needed. We were pleasantly surprised to find a kayak. Ocean kayaking was great fun!
Snorkeling was also fairly good with colourful coral formations.
We would definetely recommend TNI and would stay there again when we visit Cayman Islands the next time.

To say that we were disappointed in the Turtle Nest Inn was an understatement.

We actually booked a room for our entire vacation in one of the Affiliated Properties, in one of the Seabreeze Condos next door to the Turtle Nest Inn, but our stay was controlled by the TNI.

The Condo was not very clean, and the furniture appeared to have survived the hurricane. I can honestly say that the bed that we "slept" on was THE WORST and MOST UNCOMFORTABLE bed I have ever slept on. I woke up every morning with such a back ache, it almost ruined my vacation. We actually talked about our dis-comfort with the staff of the TNI, and they moved us to the condo literally next door - it was the same - the last night, my wife and I literally took the cushions off of the couches and slept on the floor rather than try to sleep another night on those beds. Absolutely horrendous.

After 3 nights we approached the staff, told them how disappointed we were, and that we wanted our money back, and we were going to go get a hotel down on 7 Mile - they gave us the run-around, told us that "the owner would have to sign off on it, etc" - we made the decision to try to salvage the remaining 4 days and we literally drove down to 7 Mile and got a room in one of the major hotels, and our vacation went SO much better.

The other thing about the TNI is, it is in "the boonies." - there are no restaraunts or bars within walking distance, only a small liquor store, which I feared for my life walking to - and everything is at least a 10 minute drive away.

I was extremely disappointed with the TNI, and it almost ruined my vacation - Thank God we pulled the trigger and moved down to Georgetown, we had an excellent time down there, and actually got a good nights' sleep!

Needed a little R & R in the sun. The Turtle Nest Inn delivered! Very friendly staff, lovely rooms, nice pool and great snorkelling.
