My wife and I just returned from Grand Cayman for an escape from the cold and snow in Pennsylvania. We stayed at the Turtle Nest Inn after booking one of their "internet specials" directly from their website.

Marleine was very prompt and attentive during our email exchange while finding the right dates and made the whole thing very easy. Including the rental car is a very nice convenience.

The Inn is spectacular, and it really is a refreshing bargain compared to the rest of the island. The staff is friendly and professional, the facilities well maintained and clean, and the whole place is very comfortable. The condos would be great for a family and the beach/snorkeling is incredible.

It is pleasantly removed from the hustle and bustle of George Town and 7 mile beach. We enjoyed exploring the east end of the island and it was easy to stay away from the crowds.

We'd highly recommend Turtle Nest Inn!!!!

My husband and I have just returned from our 5th visit, or might it be the 6th, in as many years, to the Turtle Nest Inn. We have been visiting Grand Cayman for more than 10 years running now and count ourselves fortunate to have discovered the beauty, friendliness and the value of the Inn. The building and grounds are just beautiful. Its owners Marleine and Alain are well respected Boddentown residents whose concern after Hurricane Ivan was evident in their efforts to raise funds to help restore other properties in the town. Their staff is friendly and helpful. We are delighted to be away from the traffic in Georgetown and have found the benefits of staying in a smaller place with such personal service much more appealing. We love sitting on the balcony with a glass of wine and have also brought food in for dinner on a few occasions. Where at other apartments and condos would you find a small herb garden from which you are encouraged to help yourself for whatever cooking you do! Such details are from their detailed and helpful referral notebook in each apartment. The DVD library has provided entertainment some evenings with recent, classics or foreign films we had missed. With a well stocked supermarket within 5 minutes drive, and great vegetables and fruit -- some of the best tomatoes and papayas in the winter anywhere -- at a small store within walking distance of the Inn, we do not lack for supplies. Few locations or attractions on the island, including excellent restaurants that give a discount to Inn residents, are more than 30 minutes away. We find our visits restorative and quickly move into island time for the all too short week we spend there. The main problem of letting the secret out is that so many others have discovered its value also. Have we made our reservations for next year? Not yet but we will soon – wouldn’t want to miss this great oasis that we have come to appreciate so much.

We stayed at the Turtle Nest Inn February 1-13, 2008. We were married on the beach in front of the Inn on February 7. The folks at the Inn had made the arrangements for us before we arrived. In fact, the owners, Marleine and Alain were the witnesses for our very small and private ceremony.

The Inn delivered everything it promised and everything we had hoped for. We had a one-bedroom beachfront unit with a large deck with table and chairs. Many evenings we sat out with a cool drink enjoying the warm Caribbean air. The staff were fantastic, super friendly and offering great suggestions when asked.

The Inn is away from the heavy traffic areas (which is one of the things we really liked). The location was perfect – a short drive to either Georgetown with the shops or the other side of the island.

We are hoping to get back to Grand Cayman and the Turtle Nest Inn in a couple of years.

Simply the best. Relaxing quiet beach front paradise home from home. Many thanks to all the staff and owners. Martha you are a star. The Cayman Islanders are the friendliest people ever. You must vist Durty Reids for lunch or dinner great fun with the locals. The rooms are spacious and due to great house keeping team cleanest rooms I would say we have stayed in. The resident cats and dog are just wonderful and enjoy a siesta with you. Thank you all for our great vacation.

A wonderful, unique Inn with a charming Host and Hostess, Turtle Nest Inn is first class. Accomodations were extremely clean, comfortable, quiet and well furnished. Not everyone enjoys being away from the hustle and bustle of a crowded atmosphere but we do and the Inn is just far enough away from Georgetown to be convenient but insulated from cruise ship crowds and traffic jams. We celebrated our 50th anniversary there and enjoyed it immensely. The terrace dinner was a nice treat and the food and companionship were delightful. I heartily recommend Turtle Nest Inn!
