We had picked up a mooring ball in the next bay over, then realized we only had one choice for our last dinner in the BVI - Tradewinds Restaurant, Peter Island Resort. We had to take the dingy onto shore and then had a bit of a hike through the woods to get there. Upon arriving we were blown away by the beautiful resort and oceanfront view and the lights of Tortola.
Unfortunately the menu is extremely limited, and only five of the six entrees were available. Very expensive, and really just okay. I had veal picatta, excessively salty (and yes I know picatta means capers and capers are salty, but the whole dish was just.too.salty). The service was okay only. The couple at the table next to us were celebrities of some sort and the waitstaff was in overdrive to bow and scrape.
