“A getaway to remember...”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 13, 2014

If you like quiet and the beach, look no further - Anegada is amazing place to visit and you will not be disappointed. My husband and I stayed at the Anegada Beach Club and it was great. Clean rooms with modern bathrooms, air conditioning, and all the amenities you could want (including a pool). The staff was really friendly and very helpful. The restaurant and bar area were also great and offered many tasty dishes including conch fritters and fresh Anegada lobster. The beach is absolutely beautiful. Pristine, white sand, crystal blue water, and no crowds – can’t ask for anything better. Would happily go back and would recommend to anyone looking for a getaway to remember.

A bunch of us took the weekend away from nearby Tortola in the BVI, and were collected from the airport after a short hop over. Having seen the old shell of the hotel some years ago before it was transformed, it's hard to believe it's the same spot! The refit (I imagine rebuild would be nearer the truth) has been done with great care and suitability for Anegada - tastefully done, clean functional and modern rooms with new TV, AC & fridge, a fantastic open covered roof bar/restaurant/pool area (with it's own "beach"!), and only 100 yards from your actual endless Anegada coastline. Given that all you do in Anegada is walk beaches and go to lobster restaurants, it's testament to the new resort that we spent so much time there. Food was great value, good choice and done well - we actually ate morning and evening meals there 2 days running, leaving only one lunch each to Cow Wreck and Big Bamboo. It's definitely a great addition to Anegada - a lovely relaxed beach club that ticks every box for a lazy escape weekend.

Room Tip: Ask for a 1st floor room (that's 2nd floor to you yanks), to get a balcony with an insane sunset...

Anegada is an amazing island, isolated and pristine beaches with delicious seafood. We stayed at Anegada Beach Club and it was such a great place to stay. Clean rooms with modern bathrooms, flooring, air conditioning and much more. Honestly, it felt like a small little resort condo. The restaurant and bar area is cute under a huge tiki roof and the bartenders and kitchen staff are so nice. And the food is delicious - yummy fish and lobster, jerk chicken, yum! The beach is just over a sand dune and it is gorgeous, and the hotel has lounge chairs down there for free. Overall, excellent place to stay, would recommend to anyone. :)

We just got back from the most fantastic, relaxing break at Anegada Beach Club. A short flight after work from Tortola on Friday and suddenly it was like being in a different world. You could literally feel the stresses of the week melting away.
Allison took care of us beautifully all weekend and nothing was too much trouble. Peter and his kitchen staff kept us brilliantly well-fed, and we ate at ABC for both breakfasts and dinners. I can highly recommend the bacon, lettuce, lobster and tomato sandwich! The menu contains all the classics that you would expect - as well as some more original items, which keeps it nicely varied.
The rooms were clean, comfortable, spacious and well-appointed. All the staff were friendly and accommodating. The pool area was lovely and it was great to be able to watch a movie on the big screen after dinner on our last night. We couldn't fault our experience at ABC and I can't wait for another opportunity to return.

Please note - cell phone reception at the resort (as with most of Anegada) is patchy. Just enjoy it!

We had sailed to Anegada in 2012 and were so happy to be going back. Didn't know where to stay so did a bunch of research and landed at the Anegada Beach Club and LOVED IT! Absolutely BEAUTIFUL "resort" (this is the closest thing to a resort on the island - they don't exist, thankfully). We loved the staff. The rooms were beyond expectations - furniture was absolutely lovely. The beach was beyond belief. It's honestly hard to describe how serene it is. We walked on a white/pink sand beach for 5 miles and never saw a soul. I hope this island remains as it is today - serene and uncluttered. It's like being at the best beach you can imagine that spring breakers go to...without the club. And don't be mistaken, we LOVE a hopping good time, but we get that in Vegas and Cancun, in Anegada we enjoy beauty, snorkeling, beautiful ocean and Anegada Beach Club. Jamie and her crew will take care of you for sure.

Although Anegada is a bit of a pig of a place to get to, if you like to unplug your brain and recharge you brain this is about as good a place to do it as there is. Stayed for three nights in January and was worried that the family might get bored, but they had a blast. Looks to have been recently refurbished but still had a very quiet low key feel to it. Interestingly quite a few other guests were "vacationing" from Tortola with their families - always interesting to know where people from the Caribbean go on holiday!

We spent New Years Eve 2013 there - what fun it was!

The setting is amazing - make sure you get to the beach and take a look - its 100 yards past the bar.Give them a call and don't worry about getting there since They came and collected us from our mooring and took us back afterwards

The bar is fabulous and very relaxed and the food is excellent.

We really did have a lot of fun and the Tortolan/Brit/US owner made us feel like part of the family. You can tell his commitment but he retains a chilled out demeanour at all times.

Cant wait to go back to this little gem of a place on a jewel of an island!

Room Tip: Didn't stay but the rooms are very nice indeed and reasonably priced - go for it!
