If you get a beachfront villa it is wonderful, you are literally right on the beach! Maho Bay is beautiful and the snorkeling is good if it is calm enough to be clear. We were considering spending almost twice as much at Mango Beach next door and were glad that we did not. The only difference is that the living room is twice as big,the rest is identical and Paradise gives you use of a jeep for free! If you are looking for pristine accomodations this is not for you, stay at Little Dix for $2000+ a night or rent a house for $8500 a week. The Villas are seventeen years old and a bit worn but the A.C. worked well, the beds were comfortable, we had two bathrooms, and they cleaned every day and did you dishes. For the price it was a deal considering this is the Carribean and everything is through the roof. Victor the owner was very nice. We met other people staying at Paradise and everyone was satisfied except for the fact that you could not see the ocean from the units that they called "ocean view" because vegetation had grown up blocking it. I think Victor is going to trim it back.
