“5th visit to Guavaberry Spring Bay... best yet!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 week ago NEW

If you are looking for a quiet and secluded island getaway, you have found it!
GSB has amazing management, Tina, Valerie, Michelle, and Ian keep things pristine and highly functional.
Virgin Gorda's night life is sparse, yet options do exist. But, what this place is about is quiet, seclusion and attention to every detail that will keep it that way!
The snorkeling is exceptional right off the beach to both north and south. We rented paddleboards this time and had a blast!
Our 200 degree view of the Sir Frances Drake Channel was breathtaking!
If you define relaxation and luxury as an all inclusive non-stop party with dozens of strangers, you will not like GSB.
But, if having a place of your own, embracing the luxury of setting your own pace, while experiencing a bit of local culture and having every convenience you need at hand to create a true respite, then GSB is a fit for you.
GSB embraces its location and nature surrounding it.
Their on-site commissary is a bargain and is stocked in such a way that usually one trip to the town market (after shopping the commissary) is adequate to stock your fridge and cupboard for a week's stay. Many local restaurants are VERY good.

Room Tip: Ask for a view. Rent a small car so you can have the best views toward the back of the property.

Paradise. We rented a villa from Guavaberry and couldn't have been happier. The most accommodating folks I have ever done business with. Excellent communications during the reservation process. We felt very welcome at Guavaberry. The beach at Spring Bay is one of the best beaches I have seen in the Caribbean. They have a small commissary that stocks most essentials at very reasonable prices. They are a short walk from the Baths and some fine bars/restaurants. We stayed a week - next time - we will need to stay two weeks. It is that perfect. Plenty of restaurants in the area and really nice people everywhere we went. My only complaint is the darn roosters that start crowing right before dawn. Thank God for earplugs.

Room Tip: Casa Rocalta at Guavaberry is a jewel.

Guavaberrry was the overall best place I've visited! Beautiful beach, provided us w chairs and towels everyday. Our villa had a wonderful pool. The commissary for all your needs if you did not want to rent a car to drive very few miles for what you need. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Can't wait to go back.

We came to this place because we had heard from friends who had come here for 15 years straight. I can say with full confidence that once you come here, you will not want to go anywhere else. We felt incredibly welcomed, comfortable, and at home.

Virgin Gorda is an incredible place to bring your family. I went with my wife and four month old baby. We felt safe walking down the road, swimming on the beach, and leaving our stuff out of site.

The staff at Guavaberry were incredibly helpful and did everything in their power to make this trip amazing. The hotel literally had people who had gone there every year for 30 years... I can't think of a more powerful stamp of approval..

amazing.. simply amazing...

Room Tip: go for the rooms with a view rather than close to the beach!

We had reserved a one-bedroom house but since we wanted air-conditioning, we were given a two-bedroom house. The house was very spacious with full-size appliances in the kitchen area. Our house had a balcony and the ocean could be seen in the distance. Everything was very clean & the bed was very comfortable. The houses are built among trees and rocks; some windows actually look at a huge rock which is fine but it also blocks the wind. Hence - the need for A/C. There is a beautiful private beach on Spring Bay. Chairs and some umbrellas are available for free from a building at the beach. You can walk to Little Trunk Bay along the beach by clambering through and over some rocks and trees. It is a short drive to "The Baths". The only TV is in a visitors lounge and there are a ton of board games that can be borrowed. If you want WI-FI in your room, there is a daily charge, or you can pay for its' use in the lounge. There is a small "store" on-site which is very convenient.

From the moment we decided to visit, everyone at Guavaberry were extremely helpful. This made us feel welcomed and at ease not traveling often. Tina, Michele and Valerie were very nice. The villas were beautiful. Very private. The villas were scattered amongst the huge boulders and the gardens throughout the property were so pretty. Our first day we arrived late which made the commissary very helpful. Loved meeting the dogs. Our first day the dogs showed us the way to the most beautiful beach we have ever seen. The boulders surrounding spring bay were incredible like from another world. We meet a group of very nice people that have been visiting Guavaberry for many years. We are already planning a return visit next year.

Guavaberry Spring Bay (GBSB) Vacation Homes is an outstanding lodging experience while visiting Virgin Gorda. We are return guests and wouldn't consider staying anywhere else. The staff treat guests like family, and provides all kinds of wonderful guest assistance. The vacation homes are nestled in amongst the famous giant boulders of the area, and surrounded by wonderful plants and trees. And each home comes with a great outside deck and most have outstanding views across the channel to Tortola, and her islands. GBSB does a great job taking care of and maintaining their vacation homes and their lovely grounds. And should you need something for a meal or a snack, GBSB provides a well supplied commissary to meet those needs. Access to the beautiful beach at Spring Bay is a real bonus, while you are also just a short walk from the famous Baths National Park. You can chose to kick back at GBSB or go exploring around the island to Spanish Town, Leverick Bay or catch a ferry to the North Sound at Gun Creek. If you need help, have a question, or would like a local's recommendation, just ask the staff at GBSB. We fell in love with Virgin Gorda and GBSB on our first trip there, and vow to return each year. We can't Thank Tina, Michelle and Valerie at GBSB enough for being such great hosts, it is always a special treat each year when we walk into the front office to check in and get to see and chat with them. We highly recommend a stay at GBSB. Can't wait till we are back on Virgin Gorda at GBSB.
