We enjoyed walking through the caves, which were accessible to most people, young and old. One cruise excursion was a drive/walk in, and the other was a snorkel in from the opposite direction, so there was a lot of traffic in the caves. We did the walk in, which I enjoyed because we saw all kinds of interesting trees and cacti. The path is maintained well and was not a difficult hike. I wore sandals. Nice beach for swimming. We didn't have snorkel equipment, but in the shallow areas, it didn't seem like there would be much to see. Clean, sandy bottom. Keep an eye out for the chickens on the beach!
