We have just come home after a heavenly two week stay at Casa Rafaelo. We have two small children (6 months and 2.5 yrs) and they could not have been happier nor could we have been made to feel more welcome by Lilli and her lovely family. The house is perfectly equipped and Lilli made sure we wanted for nothing during our stay, quite literally going out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed.

The swimming pool is beautiful and excellent for kids as are the surrounding grounds and area. Our daughter Olive learnt to swim for the first time on her own gaining so much confidence from the fact the slope means she could just walk in. There are plenty of lovely day trips around the area or just hiding away in the house and beautiful grounds - either is the perfect way to spend a couple of weeks.

Highly recommended

We spent a magnificent week in April/May 2013 at this beautiful property with a charming house, a swimmable pool and a blossoming citrus orchard. The owners were very friendly and helpful. It's somewhat hard to convince yourself to travel around the island once you're settled at Casa Rafaello.

We stayed in Casa Nicolo for one week with our two small children. We had an excellent stay. The house is very well equipped and has everything you will need. We arrived late at night and were very warm welcomed by Lilli and her family. They even provided some groceries like milk, pasta and pasta sauce so we could have something to eat after our flight. Very thoughtful. The surroundings of the house are beautiful with a lot of sitting areas under the trees. The swimmingpool is very nice for young children because it has shallow parts for them to play. We would highly recommend this place to our family and friends and would love to visit again. By the way, for a larger group (two families) it would be very nice to rent both houses. And do not forget to visit beautiful Scopello and the beaches there!

We spent 4 days in April 2013 in the Rafaello House. The surroundings of the house are ideal for a relaxing holiday - lemon, orange and olive trees, mountains...
The place is in a quiet suburban area, but close to the motorway and thus only 30-60 minutes from the main attractions of Northwestern Sicily: Lo Zingaro Park, Monreal, Palermo, Erice, Segesta, etc.
After busy days of driving and visiting these tourist attractions it was a pleasure to sit in the garden or at the pool.
Lilli and his family were taking care of our every need and surprised me with a bottle of wine and let us pick lemon from their trees.
The house is comfortable and clean, with all the necessary equipment for even a longer stay.

We have just returned from a lovely week away at the Raffaello house and even though there were only 2 of us staying we don't regret renting a house that sleeps up to 7.
We were greeted by Lilli and her husband very warmly and even though they said their English was poor i found it very easy to communicate and considering i know almost no Italian we had no communication issues.
The house is amazing and just like the photos on her website. the large kitchen has all you need like a dishwasher, gas hob, electric oven and a washing machine all built into a rustic looking kitchen. We spent most evenings making fantastic meals and enjoying them at the large table, before settling down in the comfy and spacious lounge to watch some t.v.
There are some English satellite channels but i'd advise anyone to make use of the dvd players and bring some films if you wish to watch anything other than the news or music channels.
The main bedroom was very comfortable and the en-suite bathroom very good, although we made more use of the upstairs shower room for the natural light it offered.
Outside the covered veranda was lovely and the surrounding lemon grove was beautiful.
the pool was fantastic and although a little chilly in May it wasn't cold and we enjoyed cooling off in it after a days baking in the sun. At night you can light the pool with multi coloured pool lights and that is something i'd recommend as it looks stunning.
Being near Palermo and it's airport was great for our short car drive to and from the airport.
We drove for day trips to Mount Etna and also the valley of the temples at Agrigento, both well worth a visit, but be warned Mount Etna is extremely high and gets very cold. The sea level temperature on our day of visit was 27 degrees yet up in the base camp car park of Etna it was only 9 degrees so wrap up warm especially if you take a gondola to the summit as it's even colder there.
The air is also very thin so you will get breathless and maybe a little light headed, but it is well worth a visit.
Overall Sicily is a lovely island and has amazing scenery, but more than anything Lilli and her Raffeallo house was the highlight of our holiday and i would 100% recommend staying there for a lovely holiday away from it all.

In May we stayed 1 week at the wonderfull Case de Lilli Pitti. Lilli, the owner, welcomed us with a big smile & bottle of wine and she and her family made us feel immediately at home. The house was well maintained and very spacious. The childern (5, 7 and 9 years old) loved the nice swimming pool and although the wind was quite strong they jumped in the water every moment they could. Every day we made trips to Segesta, Trapani, Erici, Zingaro Nature reserve, Selinunte, Monreale, and not to forget the bustling city of Palermo. All great!
One point of attention, the beds are rather hard and a bit small.
For sure we come back!

Houses, "Nicolo house" and "Raffaello house", are completely surrounded by over an acre of beautifully wooded land, immersed in a green country-side rich of quietness and peace entirely at the disposal of the occupants. The houses will surprise you for their beauty, for the care of every detail in functionality and aesthetics and tranquillity and peace that surround them. The style is typical Mediterranean Country homes: rustic and elegant at the same time. Both houses are full of comforts and completely equipped: dishwasher, washing machine, television, air conditioning, fully facilities and any other accessory you could possibly want to live comfortably at home or in the garden. The land surrounding the two houses lined with beautiful trees, false pepper, palm trees, vines and lemon tress, offers a unique opportunity to live immersed in nature. Each house is also equipped with its own outdoor space (a porch and a barbecue) where you can have a rest or just have lunch or dinner in absolute tranquillity and privacy. The proximity of the two houses still makes an ideal vacation spot for families or friends (up to 12 people) who may choose to share the outside space available to them.
