My boyfriend and I went to Tortola for New Years and loved staying at Fort Burt. It was a really cute "boutique" hotel. It was clean, the staff was very accomodating. We were unable to try the restaurant, as it was being remodeled. We actually didn't mind because we were there to see and visit Road Town and the tour the island. Fort Burt is close enough to town to walk to restaurants, shopping, pubs, and taxis. Our room was a suite and it was very spacious with nice marble tiles in the bathroom. It had a sweet balcony overlooking The Pub, so we could see whenever it was open (or closed). There is also a small grocery store nearby that you can get drinks and snacks for the room. Our room had A/C, but since the Christmas Winds were still kicking, we really did not have to use it at all!
