Upon arriving we were told that we were being upgraded to a suite. The suite was beautiful. However, the view from the patio was a cement wall. We love sitting and looking out over the ocean. We went to dinner and were greeted by a visiting resort manager. We told him how unhappy we were with no view. He assured us he would make a call and someone would come to the restaurant to offer us options. We waited and nobody showed up. No phone call either. The next day we went to the reception area. After some whispers between staff we were taken to a tiny room with a 3 ft. balcony with 2 folding wooden slate chairs with no arms. The resort seemed quite empty but this was the only available room. We returned to the suite. Balconies are on top of one another so there is no privacy. we had groups shouting and singing at night. Happy they were enjoying themselves but didn't need to be part of their fun. The resort is covered in stone tiles which become slippery when it rains. The curved stone stairs at the pool are treacherous . North Beach is private but you need a ride up the mountain to get there and the space is not well maintained. Having stayed all over the BVI we would choose a different resort. The staff are wonderful which is why I gave 3 stars.
