“Good Sandwich Spot”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 3, 2013

We stayed on Scrub Island and stopped here a few times for fish sandwiches/roti. The fish sandwiches are good - though not amazing - and the roti had a good flavor. The fish to bread ratio is off a bit, but still recommend stopping in and trying the "awesome fish sandwich".

“Truly awesome sandwich!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 20, 2013 via mobile

Truly the most awesome fish sandwich ever: wonderfully seasoned fresh fish + lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, onions, peppers, and sauce. Excellent Caribbean flavors, and right on the water, too.

“I love this place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 17, 2013

Always look forward to walking up to the TB Cyber café, it's how I know I'm really in the BVI. The 1st time I visited was from a charter sailboat docked in the bay, and now make it a point to visit every time. The beach shack feel to the place suits a Californian just fine, it's a nice break from the tourist trap feel of other locales in the islands. The low palm frond awnings, the sparse décor, the resident cats...There's a rustic charm about the place that makes certain people want to chuck it all and live on a sailboat or surf shack. The resort crowd might not get this place...
As for any complaints about the owner or service - my advice is this; try a simple "good morning/afternoon/evening" before you order your food or drink. You'd be amazed how far it goes all over the islands. It's a simple polite formality that most of us western tourists have blown past and forgotten in our hurried frantic lifestyle. You're not ordering from McDonalds, and you're not buying wifi from the Marriot. Take a deep breath, order a drink, swing a hammock outside and pet a cat. Look around. Slow down. If you're in that much of a hurry to read emails you shoulda stayed home.
Last bit, the owner is one of the coolest guys around, and has a lovely, dry sense of humor. Was in there on my 1st trip, kinda late, and I let rip with a few curse words as construction workers do. The owner behind the bar chimes in, "Would you mind your language, there's ladies here..."
Taken by surprise and feeling smart, I look around and see no women in the place at that moment. I tell him as much.
He looks me right in the eye and deadpans - "They're in the freezer" Aaaahahaha
Can't wait to go back and sit on the deck with the cats and roosters :)

Lastly, a note to those staying on Scrub Island, Marina Cay, or a sailboat - provision at the market down the beach from the café, reasonable prices for Tortola. Especially when compared to the small store on Scrub, this one has 10 times the selection at half the price.

“Beef Island.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 6, 2013 via mobile

On Trellis bay, Beef Island. Funky decor, and good internet. Highly annoying 'eclectic' music. Food is generally good, Full Monty English Breakfast is very good. Roti's also good. Goat Curry is ok, but is spiced for tourists, thus a little bland. Personally I was not impressed with the famous awesome sandwich, very average. Mixed drinks great, beer cold. Service is very hit or miss. All in all a nice enough place, but don't expect to be made to feel special. I would overall still recommend a visit. Bring lots of VERY strong bug spray.

“Spectacular”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 18, 2013

Amazingly good food right on the beach - it's hard to include their sandwiches in the sandwich category because they are so good. Soups are also good and the dark and stormy is the best in the BVI. The prices are reasonable for the quality - maybe the only place I can say that about in the BVI. Service adequate but friendly. It's a 5 minute walk from the airport so if you have an hour to kill after checking in for your flight walk over for your last taste of the islands.
