Just returned from BVI, and this restaurant is absolutely fabulous. My wife and I live in San Francisco and regularly patronize excellent restaurants, but the Brandywine Bay is superior. Arrive early so you can sit outside and enjoy the stunning view down on the bay and out toward the other islands. The chef/owner came out before, during, and after the meal to confer and make everyone feel welcome. He is straight from France, I believe. The lobster was the best I have ever had, anywhere, and the sauteed mussels appetizer could have been an entree. We went through two bowls of bread enjoying every last drop of the sauce. The salads were just amazing, and the flourless chocolate cake was exquisite. This place would be a runaway success in France - it honestly feels like you have found the perfect spot somewhere in Paris, except the prices are reasonable and the wait staff is friendly. I only wish there was someplace comparable in California. Highest Rating!
