I have never written a review, but this needs to be done. I just came back from the Towers at Mullet Bay and I feel cheated. I still can not understand how RCI can list this as a gold crown resort. There are no grounds to speak of, no activities,a very average pool, a single tennis court in an creepy area which was destroyed by a hurricane years ago and never rebuilt. The sad part is that it would take so little effort to make this a very nice place. The staff is polite, but they always make you feel like you are bothering them. The tennis courts are a perfect example of what is wrong. There are 2 courts in a cage, one is cleaned and ready to play. The 2nd one is not even swept and the net is down. They could provide two tennis courts for their guests and the repair required is so small we almost did it ourselves. We loved the island and would recommended it to any couple looking for a very romantic getaway. Hopefully all of the minor headaches at the airport will be addressed by the new terminal being built. Rent a car ($200/wk) and visit the whole island. Must do: Marigot during the day and the best food I have had in the caribbean at night. cherie's in Maho is just plain tropical fun. Bliss is a seaside disco/bar/restaurant with huge white beds & lounges. The staff is wonderful, the food is excellent, the music should be more fun, the location... paradise with planes. The beaches are beautiful, but for the most beautiful one I have seen you have to take the ferry to Anguilla ($30 pp roundtrip). Shoul Beach west is amazing!! Beautiful, unspoiled and chances are almost deserted. There are a couple of small inns and restaurants for food and drinks, but hardly any people even in February. Enjoy.
