“Always a pleasure!!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 19, 2014

This was our 3rd year staying on the penthouse floor in the 3 bedroom townhouse. To our surprise, the decor has been enhanced with new furniture, new appliances, and upholstery. One thing we noticed was no sightings of ants or Mosquitos!! All three of our balconies had stunning views!! Walking convenience to Mullet Bay beach. The staff was helpful as always. It appears that tourism is peaking again because I notice that the friendly cats on he property are plump lol! However, please upgrade the WiFii connections for all the rooms!!!

Let's be real, st Maarten is so gorgeous and fun the hotel was the last place we were spending time. I was disappointed by front desk service upon arrival, not greeted by warm smiling faces at all, and not ever during stay. Room was on 5th floor had nice view, kitchen, pull out couch, small bathroom, open sink area, king bed in bedroom and two balconies. Not the most
Modern of decor, but Served us four ladies well, we were really happy. Short walk ( we chose to drive) to mullet bay beach where u can tell the man there you're staying at the towers and get chairs for free. Downside to hotel is no food on premises. we didn't try the pool or beach bar but the grounds are lovely. I'd recommend renting a car if you're ok with driving, bc it'd be a pain to walk or call cabs all the time. Shout out to the cleaning staff who cleaned our messy sandy room everyday and offered a smile in the hallway.

This resort is a well maintained resort and is fully equipped with all the amenities of home. The suites are very large and the full kitchen has everything you'll need to prepare any course of the day. It's a bit away from all the other resorts and night live, is not a beach front property and has an average pool. A five minute walk you'll be at the beach. The resort is a bit secluded but overall it's a good resort (timeshare).

First, the positive:
I was with a party of 6 and we stayed in a 2 bedroom unit. It was spacious and well lit with sunshine even though we were not fortunate enough to have a good view. It was clean upon checking in and the air conditioner kept us cool when we wanted to be cool. The pool was also very nice - good chairs and umbrellas and a great view from poolside.
Unfortunately, the service was a huge disappointment.
The activities coordinator, London, kept erratic hours and tried his best to push us to his preferred vendors. He did do a lot of things for us that were very helpful, but always at a cost. I would just recommend that you listen to his recommendations and then do your own homework to find out if he's really making the best suggestion. One of our best excursions was to a place not run by one of his "friends" that he tried to talk us out of.
The people at the front desk seemed absolutely offended whenever we asked for anything. If London was away from his desk (which was most of the time), they would be incensed if we even asked them to call a taxi. The internet went out several times during our stay and they were highly annoyed if we asked them about it.
They advertised that they offered bingo one night and we showed up all excited. However, there weren't enough people there so the bingo caller, Antroy, pushed us out as soon as possible. He did still hand out all the prizes, though, so that was good.
Housekeeping didn't take our garbage until we left it in the hallway.
One bright star was the bartender. She was always friendly and helpful.

My family and I (husband and 4 grown sons) stayed at the Towers in May, 2014. having visited St. Maarten many times before, I've stayed at properties much nicer than this. Primarily the problem was the view. It's not a beach front property and there is a view of a so so bay. When there is so much beautiful water around you, it's kind of tough not to have it right outside your window. The rooms however were large (we had a 2 bedroom) and clean, definitely not 5 start (no granite or over the top room decor) but again, quite nice. Very close to lots of shopping, the sunset beach bar where the planes blow the crazy people in the water when they take off, and tons of night life. Also right on the border of the French side of the island. Pool was nice and there was a nice bar. Not much going on at the hotel in terms of activities so if you're going to totally chill, this is a good choice.

This was our 5th stay at the Towers and it is improving all the time. Not the staff ....they've always been excellent, so no need to improve there! The Front Desk people, Tasha at the Pool Bar, James at the Towel Exchange, Daisy our lovely Room cleaner-upper - they're all great! This time, we really noticed the new paint, new wood on the balcony - we didn't have all the new appliances yet, but we knew they were coming as they were getting installed while we were there. What we really love about the Towers is the quiet in the evenings when you sit out on the balcony. Just sounds of the evening - crickets, boats in the distance - peaceful!

We have just returned from a wonderful week on a timeshare exchange at The Towers. This was our first time to exchange and first trip to St. Martin so we had some apprehension given some of the negative comments on TA. Fortunately, we had absolutely nothing to complain about and much to praise.
The staff was excellent. The receptionists were friendly and efficient at check-in. When we asked about the view from our assigned room they arranged to move us over one unit to one with spectacular views of the lagoon and all the way to Anguilla. Our housekeeper, Irma, was a lovely friendly lady who took great care of us. Irma did a tidy-up and gave us fresh towels every day and a big clean and bedding change on Weds.
The unit was spotless. The appliances - stove, dishwasher, and fridge seemed brand new. All of the drapes and pelmets were being replaced while we were there and they also changed out all of the upholstered furniture. The bed in our one bedroom unit was very comfortable. The air-conditioning was in excellent working order, although we rarely needed to use it. The units facing the pool and Simpson Bay are cooler because they are on the North side and don’t get much direct sun. This suited us because we liked to leave the patio door open and enjoy the breezes.
We had no problem with getting beach towels. We just brought back the wet ones when we came back from the beach and exchanged them for new ones. They always had stacks of towels , even late in the afternoon. The pavers around the pool area were being repaired or replace while we were there. We are not pool people when there are such beautiful beaches all around , so we didn’t use the pool or bar, but both looked very appealing. We were delighted that the Towers provides lounge chairs at Mullet Beach. Unlike the rigid rows of loungers / umbrellas set up over by the beach bars, you can get the loungers and place them where you want. The lounger guy in front of Rosie’s will rent you an umbrella for $10 and set it up by your Tower ‘s loungers.
We toured the whole island and tried to visit every beach. By the time we left we were convinced that Mullet Bay was the beach on the island. The new bridge across Simpson Bay made the wonderful restaurants at Marigot and even Grand Case just a short drive away.
The Towers are not a Westin or Ritz Carlton Resort, but they had everything we needed or wanted. The management seems to be making a serious effort to bring the place up to its full potential. Some areas may seem a little dated, but everything seemed to be clean and in good repair. I have no hesitation in recommending it for a wonderful vacation and have already started to plan going back next year.

Room Tip: Rooms X04, 05 & 06 have the best view but no sun on balcony. X07,08 & 09 have a nice view f...
