We got the Rib Plate and the Chicken Plate, beer ($1.50 for a short Heineken) & Diet Coke. Our meats came directly out of the smoker and they were fantastic! The chicken was crispy on the outside and drippy moist on the inside. The ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender, super moist & really delicious. Of the sides, the potato salad and the cole slaw were the best. But when you have meat this good, why would you want any sides? $21 for both of us + tip. The $1.00=1.00 Euro adds to the value.
My counsel, and what we'll do when we go back, is get just the meat. I didn't look hard enough at the menu this time, but they've gotta have a 1/2 chicken and pound of ribs on the menu. Then get a side of potato salad, or fries, if you gotta have something on the side. Take home what you can't finish.
We got there for dinner a little before 7pm on Sunday 4/21/13 and there were no piles of meat sitting anywhere. All the meat was in the smoker, and had been smoking for hours. Maybe they do pre-smoke for really busy days, but I didn't see any evidence of it.
