The hotel says that they have wireless internet, but the only two places where you can actually get it is in the cafe, or else the taxi stand downstairs on the road in front of the reception. There is NO INTERNET ACCESS IN THE ROOMS, and the front desk is very vague about this when you phone to inquire.
Additionally, they claim to provide you with a "Continental Breakfast" but when you go down to the cafe in the morning, they give you one small glass of powdered orange juice, one coffee or tea (no refills), 2 pieces of stale croissant, and some packaged butter - no jam, no fruit, nor anything else. They then provide a breakfast menu for you to order and pay for a proper breakfast. Basically, all they are giving you is a free cup of coffee and a free cup of powdered orange juice along with a breakfast that you will ultimately end up paying for.
The rooms were dirty, floors were filthy, my feet were black after walking around, and the rooms smelt very badly. When we inquired about the smell in the rooms with Stephen Wright, the English manager, he informed us that the housekeeping went home at 4 pm and that the front desk do not know how to properly prepare the room for guests if they check in after 7pm, and therefore it wasn't his fault that the room smelt.
The beach is nice, very quiet and secluded, but the hotel is mismanaged, and the promised services are purposely vague and misleading. We've stayed in many hotels around the island, and have discovered that there are other much nicer hotels on the island for much better value, Le Petit Hotel being one of them. We would not return to stay here again. It wasn't a great experience, and we would definitely not recommend this hotel, if not for any other reason other than the fact that they purposely mislead you and they are not honest with their services. Incredibly disappointing.

We too are incredibly disappointed. In all aspects of this overnight stay, we performed well. Not only did we do exactly as we were contracted to, we went over and beyond! Nowhere do we state that we will provide internet access in every room (though stay tuned, we are working on it), we do have free internet hotspots at various places. Continental Breakfast is fresh coffee or tea, orange juice (from concentrate…not powder), fresh croissants and baguette, along with butter and jam. Additional items are available for purchase, as the poster indicates, if more than the basics are wanted. In the American style, we freely pour refills of the brewed coffee. Our rooms are well cleaned, everyone gone through thoroughly before expected arrivals by a housekeeper, and engineer and a supervisor. We pride ourselves in underselling and over-performing, which makes a posting such as this all the more hurtful to us. We went out of our way to welcome this guest, gave a substantial discount (as it was a very last minute booking) and a very late check-out time and we are delivered a “Character Assassination by Internet.”

I stand behind absolutely what we post on the website and what was stated by our staff. Of course, errors can be made…but not in this case. We have discussed this among the staff and management, and while we strongly disagree with what has been said, it is obvious that someone has not been pleased with their stay, and that concerns us. We have seriously looked in to what she asserts and have already acted on some of her perceptions. For that I should thank her…but in this case, I won’t.
