“Nice Hotel!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 4, 2013

We stayed at the Grand Case Beach Club for 3 nights prior to a sailing week. There were two couples traveling together. Both rooms were quite nice! The cool a/c was welcome on warm summer days. We enjoyed the continental breakfast, and on several morning also had an egg dish off the menu. Yes, it is bread - but fresh croissants in a French town - delightful. We would absolutely stay here again. Thanks GCBC for a wonderful trip. We hope to be back!

We were very pleased with this resort. Great breakfast in the morning. Excellent housekeeper. Great beaches and very convenient for walking to town. Great for families or couples. We had an ocean view room which I would highly recommend for the price. Spacious and great views

We only had 2 nights their but the place was awesome. We stayed their after a week on a live aboard dive boat. We were looking for some place that offered security, and a place to relax before heading home. Grand Case beach club filled our needs perfectly. But the staff the room and the on site resturant was very nice. The contenential breakfast was the only dissappointment.
And the beaches where beautiful.

And it was nicely located, close enough to Orient beach and Grand Case.

It was great experience, my kids and us love it ... They need to improve some areas like: stop been so cheap with the beach towels, they charge 2€ if u want extra beach towels, they charge if you want to use the bbq grilled ,They charge $5€ euros per person per day for the gym and breakfast is bread only with juice and coffee they taste good. Just do not expect more they serve u a portion and that is it.
But i will come back to the same resort gated area, private beach only for guest, the view is amazing, the sun set amazing stuff is nice especially the waiter ( women/short hair) in the cafe very friendly and nice. After a while they all warm up to you.
Overall great experience had a great time...

The drive to get to the GCBC was a little scary and I'd wondered what I'd gotten us into. Even the entrance to the road to GCBC was narrow, a bit confusing and we initially missed the drive to the entrance. When we entered the gate, checked in and explored the beach, boardwalks, activity center, restaurant and our room, we realized the paradise our friends has told us about was real. We spent some days driving around and exploring, but our last few days, we just enjoyed the beach, resort water sports of kayaking and snorkeling and napped on our deck. The short walk to town felt safe and we discovered lots of treasures including the local bakery, The Crusty Bread. We'll be back!

Room Tip: The lower level is best for travelers that don't do steps well, but the privacy of the second an...

My husband and I couldn't be happier that we chose GCBC for our honeymoon spot. St. Martin alone is fantastic, but the GCBC made our time there even better! Their beaches were on point. You get 2 options - 1, laying out on chaise lounges on the beach and swimming in the surf, and 2, laying out on chaise lounges on a deck and swimming in a calm bay.

Their staff is marvelous, from the reception desk to housekeeping to the gift shop, and most of all at the on-site restaurant, the Sunset Cafe. Everyone who works at the cafe is fun, hilarious and attentive. Even better, the food at the Sunset Cafe is OUT OF THIS WORLD!!! An amazing, incredibly delicious culinary experience is waiting for you!! Try their Shrimp and Asian risotto and get back to me. A couple of thoughtful colleagues of mine called the resort and gave us a romantic dinner at the cafe as a wedding gift. The waitstaff (big thanks to Phillipe, Karine and Sandra) did a marvelous job in setting up a private sunset dinner for us, complete with flowers and candlelight in lanterns. So, so romantic. :)

The resort also has this fantastic deck that runs around the ocean side of the resort which has chaise lounges at various points where you can sunbathe, hang out, or toast the sunrise/sunset or the fact you're having an awesome vacation. An unexpected feature that was a really nice touch.

Our room was great. Even though they didn't have any oceanside rooms available, we stayed in a 1-bedroom loft that overlooked the courtyard and just the beyond that was a great view of the ocean. We were not disappointed, such a fabulous way to wake up every day...

We always felt safe here and walking to the strip of local bars and restaurants (great food was everywhere!!) was a breeze. We couldn't have asked for a better honeymoon and we will definitely be back. Can't wait! Thanks again to the GCBC!!!!

Room Tip: Ask for an oceanview room, but if none are available ask if any 1-bedrooms lofts are available in th...

GCBC is a great location and an easy, comfortable walk to the main drag of GC.
Make sure you walk around the whole resort when you arrive, find the pool, both beaches, etc. Our second day there we walked around this winding boardwalk along the ocean, passed the restaurant and found two chairs, under shade looking out over the ocean. We moved here every afternoon to escape the sun and it was like we were all by ourselves on the island!
The beach next to the restaurant, 'Petit plague' has some room to walk the shore and chairs. All you have to do is raise your umbrella and staff will bring you umbrellas, cocktails, whatever you desire! The other beach is good if you just want to sit in the shade and hop in the water every once in a while. They've got comfy chairs and cushions out at each.
The Sunset Cafe is a MUST. There are also some really great restaurants in the main downtown area, but Sunset Cafe is just as good, if not better sometimes, and CHEAPER! Take advantage of the specials they offer.
The staff is super friendly and we enjoyed visiting with them. The free breakfast is nice, but we added a fruit plate every day and we felt a bit healthier after that :)
Lunch is also great.
There was a nice manager's reception Thursday night with a free drink and some snacks.
Wish we had a chance then to talk to the staff, they were just always busy.
We booked the ocean loft because I like being on the top floor, but when we arrived we had been 'upgraded' and ended up in what was as large as a one bedroom apartment! it was a GREAT room, great view, great furnishings, but we just didn't get to spend too much time in it!
AC in the rooms is strong, thank goodness, so no need to worry about suffering in the heat at this resort.
We also had satellite tv, not that we spent time in front of the tube, but we did catch the NYC news a couple nights.
Stay here, you won't regret it.

Room Tip: I requested a top floor loft but we ended up on the bottom floor, which I normally don't enjoy...
