We were in St Martin a couple of weeks ago. We came upon his amazing restaurant, just by chance and thought we would try it out. Wow! are we glad that we did. It was the best food and exprience we encountered whilst there.
From the moment we entered the outside eating area, we were greeted with a warm and very pleasant welcome. There is a dining area inside and outside, but we decided to eat outside in the lovely warm climate. We sat outside in what I can only describe as chic. It reminded me of a French bistro with the stylsh chairs.
Our food order was taken by Ace, who is co-owner with his wife Naz and she does all the cooking. We were told that we would have a little wait time as all the food is freshly prepared (apart from the stews which apparently had 6 hours of cooking with herbs and spices) but would be worth it. He wasn't wrong, the food is to die for and the flavours are out of this world.
We enjoyed the whole experience so much that we visited Crave 3 times whilst we were there. Each visit was as great as the first and the hospitality shown to us was almost overwhelming.
Crave has not been open very long in Simpson Bay and the word needs to get out there to all the people who have not yet tried this fantastic gem of a place.
