I've been living in Saint martin for over a year now and I eat out quite often. Of all the restaurants I been to "Little J" as we like to call it is a favorite. Not only my personal favorite, but a favorite for most of the medical students that go to school here in Saint martin that are from the United States, Canada, and all throughout the world. For about $10 you can get a rice platter filled with potatoes, veggies, lamb, chicken, and Abe's delicious sauces. The staff is incredibly friendly and give great recommendations for dishes. For those from the New York tri state area the rice platter here tastes considerably better than the halal platters on 53rd and 6th. Whenever my friends or family come to visit the 3 things I must have them experience is watching the planes land right over maho beach, smoking a cohiba behike, and eating a shawarma or rice platter at little j with a fresh soursop juice.
P.S. He also carries halal. I've also heard great great things about his vegetarian falafel.
