Everyone told us we had to try Lees and it was one of the don't miss places to eat. Went to dinner there the other night. Service was ok. I had the grilled snapper and my husband had the coconut shrimp. I received a generous portion of snapper, very fresh and nicely grilled but with no seasoning whatsoever. The mixed vegetables were overcooked almost to a mash, and the plantains while tasty were lukewarm and soggy. His coconut shrimp was reminicent of "Mrs. Pauls". It was served with a huge portion of french fries and the lukewarm plantains. The coconut shrimp were served with a marinara sauce. Really a terrible, and weird combination. Either we ordered wrong or we just don't get it. Can't say I enjoyed the atmosphere either.
