“Perfect view, even better Lobster”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 13, 2011

We have been to Lee's 4 times now and it never disappoints. The view of the lagoon is great and it is located only a 10 minute ride from the Sonesta Maho.
We pick out our own lobsters everytime and they are BBQ'd with butter and lime..what could be better? The 2 of us have been for lunch and with 2 bottles of white wine our bill is still under $100 each time. That is value...2 huge Lobsters and 2 bottles of wine under $100..not where I am from!
The service is okay...it is not 5 star, it is a grill over looking the water...pull up in your boat and eat in your flip flops.
I should add that each time we come back we bring new guests and they all love it.
We will be back in march...see you soon!

“Never again”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed December 9, 2011

Service was decent ( our waitress was friendly but when asking for the bathroom I was ignored or mumbled at by other staff, not very helpful) We both had the chicken and ribs. The chicken was fatty and the ribs flavorless.. I have never had such bad food on St.Marteen and ii have been here 20 times, but never to this restaurant, I will never go again.

“Best on the Island”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 4, 2011

We have been going to St. Maarten for 25 years and have eaten at Lee's since the day it opened. Now when we go that's the only place we eat. Unbelievable fish, chicken & ribs. The waitresses and bartenders are friendly & a lot of fun. If you're lucky enough to be there when Lee is you are in for a treat. He was born on the island and is a great example of the friendly people of the island. The restaurant is run efficiently by Lee's lovely wife Ileana. If you visit the island do yourself a favor & try it, I guarantee you will go back for lunch and dinner. We're flying out in three days and can't wait.

“Good Food and Fun”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 30, 2011

We really enjoyed this place. It's kind-of open-air and i think they have seating overlooking the bay. The service was very good. The food was very good. I really liked the dry-rub ribs. The best i've had in a while. There was live entertainment too. The prices were typical for St Maarten. This place is on the south side in the Simpson Bay area. Parking is tight, as it is everywhere. Somebody parked in front of the next restaurant by accident and needed to move their car so the Lee's manager moved it for them while they continued to eat. That's good service.

“Delish!!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 27, 2011

This place is easy to find first there's a huge Marlin infront and a large Grill with the smoke coming out to the side of the road and that wonderful BBQ smell. We went there twice. The fish was fresh and grilled perfectly, portions are good size.My sisters ordered grilled ribs and chicken and they said it was very good. They have live caribbean lobster you get to choose the size price accdg to weight, we tried it grilled but personally prefer maine lobster. The service was good ,the live band is a plus. The only problem is parking there's an empty lot across the street BUT it's dirt road there is no ramp and it goes deep be careful if you have a small car.A nice place to hang out will definitely go back.
