We went to eat here after reading the reviews from other 'Trip-Advisors'...and we were Not Disappointed!
Sure, the atmosphere is 'homely'...but that's just it....its a home-style restaurant of the European/Carribe flair.
Another reviewer wrote that they had the BEST RED CABBAGE....and WE AGREE!~
Actually, everything was here De-LIC-ious!
The Sauerkraut was fine and the Bratworst, grilled to perfection.
Beef stew thick and hearty, and the Cheese Plate appetizer....yum-yum! (Blue Cheese was gone first!)
One the advice of yet another reviewer on this post I tried the Erdinger Heffe Dunkel, and discovered another of what is now a favorite beer. Dark, moody, and delightfuly clean.
Don't forget to order a apfelstrudel...and a hot cup of fresh coffee for dessert.
It was the perfect end to a fine meal.
The only setback- I can not frequent this fine food when I return to Texas!
To sum this visit up in one word... "Wunderbar".
