Went to Prickly Pear by catamaran. A beautiful white sand beach: swimming is lovely, snorkeling is OK , coral reef is not in good shape, but still some fish to be seen. Very secluded, palm trees and a bar and restaurant, which we didn,t try.
We did this trip on our own from a private catamaran but I would highly encourage taking this trip by any means possible. The beaches can't be compared to anywhere! Absolutely pristine and stunning!
So pretty, very secluded, truly feels like paradise. Chairs and umbrellas available. A bar for drinks, and a restaurant with good food. Swimming is nice, snorkeling is ok.
Totally worth the trip to get to the beach. We booked a private sailing charter to go to the beach and it was an excursion of a lifetime. The beach itself is amazing and so relaxing. There were about 20 people there total, including the 3 of us.
Highly recommend doing a day trip here while visiting SB or SXM. Check out the Flagship II catamaran owned by Zuzu during your visit, the staff is amazing and attentive.
Prickly Pear is an uninhabited Carribean island, and is the classic vision of one. Take a boat here, snorkel up, go for a romantic walk. Great photo ops.
