I have no idea what other reviewers ate at Bistro Nu that they considered good or excellent, but our experience was just awful. Our meal started with an asparagus salad. The asparagus seemed canned, but tdon't know if they were. They were mushy and a greyish green color. The tomatoes that garnished the plate were partly green. We sent the dish back. We had different entrees--Coq Au Vin, grilled fish and cornish hen. The coq au vin was terrible, the chicken in it was dry,overcooked and tasteless. If a French restaurant can't make good coq au vin, that speaks volumes. The fish could not be cut with a fork and the cornish hen was just okay.
There were a couple of good thngs. The food presentations were great and service was excellent, but, of course, we go to a restaurant for the food.
