We have been going to Antoine's since Before the hurricane Luis (back in '94) when it was in the heart of downtown Philipsburg. After the Storm, Jean Pierre moved further up Front Street. Whether you're coming in from a Cruise for Bolognese & a Caesar salad at lunch, or Dinner, for the Very Best Lobster Thermidor (Escargot appetizer & Grand Marnier Souffle for dessert), you cannot go wrong. The original half crisp Duck with a Cherry sauce is equally compelling. The setting is delightful, and if one of your party has a yen for Goat Curry, the Chef will comply with equal aplomb. They are exceedingly good AND accommodating. Jean Pierre never disappoints, and 20+ years later, we are still faithfully returning. (I have checked the "Open Air" seating feature, because the restaurant, while covered, is open on both sides.
