“Nice Local Beach”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 19, 2012

We visited St Martin during our Caribbean cruise on 11/10/12. We rented a car for a day to visit the island on our own. We visited Mullet, Maho and Orient Beaches that day for a couple hours each. I will give a seperate review for each.

We loved the beach. They were lots of locals there. It was safe, no one bothered us or tried to sell us anything. They were several vendors selling drinks and food that were reasonably priced. There was a beach bar there, but we didn't try it.

The water was crystal clear. Snorkeling was great- lots of fish. The sand was nice and the drop off not too steep. Its a perfect place to chill out for the day. It was our favorite beach we visited on St Martin.

“Greart place to swim”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 19, 2012

Very nice beach. The BBQ ribs at the food stand are very good
(cash only) .
Word of caution the rip tides can be strong, go to the side and it is easier to get in and out. Great day at the beach. 2 chairs and umbrella are $15 (cash) to rent. On weekends the locals hang out here.

“You've got to for Rosie's ribs!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 13, 2012

Mullet beach is a great beach to visit when the water is calm...and we've been very luck. Most of the time the water has looked like a lake when we were there!

We park ourselves right in front of Rosie's rib shack and stayn in the water for hours..until we smell the ribs and head up for lunch. Lunch is so cheap (10 bucks I think) and it is plentiful. I always hate to leave. You can see the Planes coming past to land at the airport and sailboats coming in for a day of fun..it's just picture perfect!

“Family oriented, crystal clear water, beautiful!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 12, 2012

This is the beach the locals go to - clean, clear water, food and drinks along with chair rental on sight. Don't try to go there if the weather has been rainy - the road often washes out.

“Calm Waters.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 10, 2012

This beach is on the west side of the island and you will have a great time here. The ocean is usually very calm here with no waves. On the east side of the beach are a few rocks which makes for good snorkeling. On some days you have a good supply of fish to look at. There are two beach restaurants or huts. They both serve great food like hamburgers and ribs. They also have cold beer.
