“Overrated beach”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed January 12, 2014

It seems like this beach used to be one of the best beaches on the island, but the day my family visited, it was windy, high waves, rough see. Cannot reccommend this for families with small children. Our children, which are trained swimmers, didn't want to enter the water, so we left for another beach.
The sunbeds and umbrellas which you can hire, have seen better days, actually its some old crap.
There is also a small restaurant on the beach, soy ou can 'enjoy' all the smoke from their bbq. So basiccally not a good experience.

“Too many huge rocks”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed January 3, 2014

Some storms have washed away a lot of sand and exposed huge rocks at the edge of the water and in the water.

“Very nice and quiet beach”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 30, 2013

Beautiful and quiet beach experience. Small restaurant on the beach. Not great snorkeling but lots of space and very quiet. Good if you want room for activities on the beach.

“beauty of surf and rock”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 27, 2013

While there are limited areas to actually dip into the surf because of the rock formations, it is a lovely beach to walk along, or to sit down and watch the surf crash gently along the rocks. The shore before you, the hillside behind you, it is actually very beautiful. Just watch your step if you walk too close to the shore-line... There is actually a little place on the beach where food and beverages are sold during the day.

“Yes Rocks but Yes Sand”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 23, 2013

While I was initially a bit concerned about the beach since I was under some walking restrictions from foot surgery 3 months ago, we checked out the beach and found a great sandy area on the right side of the beach that was easy for me to enter and exit. There were other spaces between the rocky shoreline but this area was also a bit calmer as the waves did not have a direct on the shoreline. The water was wonderful when we were there twice (we chose this as our final beach morning as we liked it so much the first time) It was initially hard to find and since there isn't a big parking area was NOT a cruise ship bus destination. Nice an quiet... listening to to surf. Only fee was the rental of chairs and umbrella from either Raymond or Gus' stands. My son REALLY wanted to try the food as it smelled great but we weren't around at lunch. Did have some beers there which were reasonably priced.
