“Not Worth the Trouble”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed November 28, 2012

I would not suggest visiting this attraction unless you are staying in this area of the island. It is a LONG drive from Castries on a very curvy road. The volcano is kind of interesting but it is essentially a pile of steaming stinky rocks. The nearby Botanical Gardens is also not worth the trip.

“waterfall visit and mud baths”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 26, 2012

the mud baths were great, skin feels so soft after! We visited the waterfall close by after to rinse off, was a bit cold, but felt great!

“Really fun couple outing”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 22, 2012

We went there as an excursion, we walked down from Ladera which was about a 1.5mile nice/safe walk. You pay $5 and get to go into 105 degree volcanic mud?, then get out, paint each other in the mud, dry and rinse. It was a really fun outing, skin felt amazing after. We walked back in the warm rain, it was beautiful. Def reccommend it as a day trip.

“Great Mud Baths!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 20, 2012

This is a fun place to visit while you are in St Lucia. The mud bath is awesome but beware. It will stain your clothes and jewelry. I recommend wearing dark color bathing suits and take off all of your jewelry. In fact - leave your jewelry at the hotel in the safe. The water coming from the springs is super hot. So be careful. When you are done, your skin feels as smooth as it ever will.

“Smelly but cool”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 19, 2012

The tour was very interesting. Definitely a must visit. The tour takes you up some pretty steep stairs and walkways so come prepared - wear trainers or something, flip flops aren't recommended.

The smell of sulphur is very strong and you don't stay very long so it's tolerable. There are places to buy things where the buses stop if you want souvenirs.

This was part of a whole day touring and a great stop.
