“Great place to stay.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 7, 2013

We stayed at the Coco Palm Resort for a week with our 2 year old daughter. The thing that really stands out about this place is that the whole staff were amazingly warm and friendly. They love our daughter and our daughter loved them. Most knew her by name and even knew her dolls name. Our room was always beautifully kept and every morning we had a table reserved for us, without asking (thank you Patrica). It was sad to leave, almost like saying good bye to family. Also there are some great nearby places to eat. We rented a car so I'm not familiar with tour packages. Thanks again to ALL at the Coco Palm.

I don't usually write reviews but we felt it was absolutely necessary beacuse Coco Palm was just perfect!! We stayed in the so called 'older' part of the hotel for 5 days last week but when we saw what we were getting for the price??? Well if that's 'older' we don't need 'newer' and when we make our next booking later this year all we want is 'older'!!!

SERVICE: The staff was in one word: exceptional! Security was always around no matter the time of morning or night so you are sure to feel safe and on top of that they were so friendly and helpful we felt it was like a friend just making sure you were ok! The guys at the front desk and the restaurant were all so amazing, so helpful: they really wanted to make sure they did everything they could to ensure our stay was perfect!

LOCATION: The 'older' part of the property is located right on the main street so it was a minute walk away from night clubs, loads of restaurants and two duty free shopping malls. But when we were in bed with the t.v. and a/c on we barely heard anything........and we were there over a weekend! We LOVED being so close to everything and with our own car park right down the steps for our rental and the entire strip right there for us to explore on foot we just adored the convenience.

ROOM: It was like being in a quaint and cozy spa like retreat! The bed and pillows were so perfectly cozy that our first morning we overslept while reading the tourist guide!!!!! While small, it suited us amazingly because we had everything we could need in a space large enough for the both of us without sacrificing anything......just perfect!

VALUE: One word: PERFECT!!!!!!!!! We even wondered if we read right when we made the booking.........given the location to alll the restaurants and duty free malls, the standard of the accomodation and the buffet breakfast included???? Maybe they forgot to add a zero......lol!!!

Coco Palm was excellent for us........we recommended it to our brother in law who wil be booking in August and as soon as we go back out to work next week and confirm leave for my birthday in November Coco Palm will be seeing us again........maybe even for our anniversary in January!!! Thanks Coco Palm!!!

Room Tip: If you came to explore (shopping, dinning, tours etc.) choose the 'older' part of the hotel...

Great location for amazing restaurants, shopping, beach and general great holiday. Basic accommodation and a nice pool and pool area.

Food was OK but you get what you pay for. Other hotels nearby are more expensive and very bad food etc. Recommend eating locally, is expensive but amazing food..

Great trip

I have stayed at this resort on numerous occasions to the point that I am now recognized by staff and have now become part of the coco palm family. I have had no issues and it sure feels great to keep coming back over and over. The management and staff have now made it feel like a home away from home.

We have our favorite room which we always book and reservation and front office staff always try their best to ensure we get our room. The place is always clean and staff are very helpful, especially Anaman and the chief of security. On one occasion we arrived quite late and were tired and our room was our of order, Anaman booked us into another room and was very apologetic and checked up on us after we had settled in. Very helpful and charming young man. On another visit, I needed a table in my room to do some work and the chief of security went out of his way to get me a comfortable table which he placed in my room so I could work. Forgot his name, sorry.

Breakfast is always enjoyed at coco palm. There is a wider variety of things to eat and drink. I honestly cannot see me going to any other hotel up north except coco palm when I want a break.

Keep up the good work everyone at coco palm. See you again soon. :)

Room Tip: Good value for money. Even if it is centrally located, it is surprisingly quiet and relaxing.

We stayed in the "older" part of the hotel on a "Bed & Breakfast" deal. The room was part of what must have been the original hotel, so the decor was quaint, lots of "gingerbread" architecture. The room was very nice, well equipped with mini-fridge, two big beds, lovely decor. The hotel provided excellent entertainment on both nights that we were there - a live band on each occasion, one with contemporary music, the other specialising in Country & Western. We ate dinner one night in the hotel restaurant - a really lovely meal. There was also a pretty good breakfast buffet. All staff extremely kind, courteous and well-trained. Lovely pool area and grounds well kept. And very close to Rodney Bay shopping and restaurants and a short walk to a gorgeous beach. A delightful stay.

Room Tip: There is some noise from a Jazz bar, so you may want to choose a room from the newer part of the hot...

We have been coming back to this hotel for years....... that should say it all,but we think it deserves much more. I cannot believe that i have never written a review on tripadvisor about this hotel ,( shame on us )especially after all the memories and new friends it has given us.
The hotel for us is warm, welcoming ,friendly, value for money year in year out. The decor is lovely, and i love the big beds ( i can starfish to my hearts content !!) and the swim up rooms are my favourite rooms, even though there is nothing wrong with any of the other rooms that we have stayed in.
A big mention has to go out to Claudine and all her staff, who always have a smile and are ready to help at any time to make our stay just perfect, not too personal and not impersonal, just right, and so very generous over the years. The bar ,restaurant and kitchen staff are also just the same, very helpful and attentive without being intrusive and work very hard.
We have always found the hotel very clean and never had any need to complain, but we know if we did,it would be sorted straight away.
Roll on Jazz 2014!!!!!!!! cannot wait to return home.
Another bonus is that the hotel is so near all the local bars and restaurants, aswel as the shopping mall, ,it means no need for taxis just get up and go.

Room Tip: if you have the spare cash, and are wanting a quiet romantic time,go for the swim up pool rooms,they...

Very fine, affordable hotel. Peppy the concierge is excellent. The staff were always attentive. I don't understand the bedclothes thing: a fitted sheet and a blanket were all I got. When I asked the housekeeper if I wasn't supposed to have a second sheet, she put one on top of the blanket. The poolside drinks could be more generous. But everything was fine during my week there.
