My husband and I were very excited to go horseback riding, especially since I had never gone before. When we pulled in, everyone thought that the horses looked anorexic. I was hardly given any instructions on how to ride the horse, so I spent my ride right beside the guide who called me a "sexy mama". On the ride that was supposed to go through the tropical rainforest, we went down an alleyway where a man told me that he wished he could be my horse so I could ride him. Nice charm, huh? After riding down an alleyway, we ended up on a beach filled with seaweed with a gift shop. Then, the guides had us dismount for maybe 20 minutes or so which I assumed was time to buy gifts or something to drink. Tricky. My husband and I went into the water first with the horses. The guide led us in, we took one dip, and then headed out. We noticed that one of the horses had a bad sore on its back and my husband then felt terrible for riding him. Afterwards, we rode back on a muddy road through what I guess was rainforest but looked strangely like the woods in Indiana? Oh yeah, the best part was that before we rode back to the stables, the guides gave us a speech about their boss and how he steals all of the tips, so they wanted us to tip them there. How unprofessional.
