“pity we only ate once at this great restaurant”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 24, 2013

we stayed at Cap Maison and we decided to tryout The Cliff on our last night and that was a big mistake as had we know this restaurant was so good, we would have gone there more often. The food was simply exquisite and the service was good too. The meal we had here was surely one of the best meals in our trip to St Lucia. I had beef as a main and this was simply out of this world. Should you visit st lucia you surely have to try out this restaurant.

“I wish I could give it a 10!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 19, 2013

This place is amazing! We hadn't heard of it until we drove up to the Cap Estate looking for a hidden beach. We were thrilled with the location, the view, the atmosphere... We had drinks overlooking the ocean, then checked the menu to see if they had anything vegetarian. We came back for dinner, and what an amazing treat!! Everything was extremely flavorful. They had an excellent wine selection. In between courses, they brought tall shotglasses with little ' soups', first a watermelon gazpacho, then a coconut sorbet. My husband had an open faced ravioli that was beautiful. Dessert was a chocolate ganache...mmmm. I just loved the dark wood, multiple levels, open to the ocean crashing below. It was great to visit during the day, too, with a long stairway down to the ocean.

“There is "great" food on St. Lucia, and it is at The Cliff at Cap Maison”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 18, 2013

The Cliff at Cap Maison is a 5 star island restaurant. The view at sunset is spectacular and not to be missed. 6:15 - 6:30 sunset - We arived around 5:45, had a drink and enjoyed the finest view on the island. The Cliff is set on the edge of the cliff literally and is part of the Cap Maison property. The restaurant is terraced so that seating is on many levels and areas. The effect is that you feel that you are only dining with a few tables when infact there are many. The service for both of our visits was excellent and best we recieved on the island.

The Cliff at Cap is not inexpensive. Both nights our bill for 4 adults was over $500.00. It was worth it. Don't miss this one!!!! This would also be a great place for cocktails to watch the sunset before venturing out.

“Not to be missed!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 12, 2013

We were staying at the nearby Smuggler's Cove and decided to go off resort for a nice dinner and we were NOT disappointed. It was a bonus that this was in walking distance from the side entrance of the resort property (only a five minute walk) but this restaurant is worth any amount of travelling. There were six of us for dinner and, after making a reservation, we were seated on an outdoor deck, at a round table, to witness the splendor of the ocean throughout our dinner. We enjoyed appetizers (delicious scallops, wonderful Kobi beef carpaccio with cauliflower polenta), main courses (I had the tender and yummy spiny lobster tail and my friend really enjoyed her vegetarian curry dish) and then a St. Lucian coffee (with local rum) for dessert. We also enjoyed a lovely bottle of wine and the entire bill came to ~$190 USD for two of us. The service was very good and unobtrusive and they were very accomodating of our need for split up cheques. And to top off the evening (it was a Thursday night), there was a live singer who was wonderful. I would definitely return to this lovely place, and would definitely book a table to enjoy the sunset!

“Delectable”

Even if you are not staying at Cap Maison, it's worth a special trip - you'll be amazed by the food creativity and taste, as compared to mostly mediocre and overpriced food around the island.
