“India in St. Lucia”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 2, 2010

This little restaurant is located in Reduit Beach Avenue and is worth visiting and dining.
Food is delicious. A bit pricey but it is authentic Indian cuisine. You can't go wrong! Pay them a visit! Bar service is also available. Take away service can be done :)

“Great food, so so service-happy hour!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 30, 2009

Had supper here, $240 EC for four drinks during happy hour(buy one get one), papadum appetizer, shrimp main course that came on a copper burner, the chefs special fish dish which was tasty and a side order of rice which we shared as we did for dessert. Service was intermittent with several people serving the table. Getting the bill took too long but seems the rule here in St Lucia. Food quality was very good and we will go back. Lots of people eating there and we did not require reservations. A large group was thoroughly enjoying happy hour and left without eating. Noisy party goers taking advantage of cheap drinks.

“Good food and service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 20, 2009

Good Indian food with excellent service.
Don't over order, the portions are huge if lacking a bit of a kick. Good value for money.

“Decent Indian food, disappointing service”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 17, 2009

We came at 6:30 PM and are easily spotted as mixed Indian-Western. Maybe this 'critical' label spoilt it with the waitress, or the fact that we asked for a streetside table instead of her original proposal - but not much went good in terms of service that evening. She refused to answer clearly about the rice portions, so we ordered 2 which came out as too big; and also was not very specific of the ways of cooking of the tandoori and buriyani dishes.
That having said, you can't really go wrong in terms of taste if you like Indian/Nepalese. It's decent Indian quality with reasonably big portions. The tandoori chicken curry was yummy yummy and their homemade veggie stuff, like paneer, also quite okay. Serve with real lassies.
Price level is on the top end of Rodney Bay restaurants, so in the end probably 2-3 times of what you spend for decent Indian food in UK or USA.
