My wife and I spent a week in St. Lucia recently and had an enjoyable week of diving with Scuba Steve, Steve and Shirley. Although a tropical storm was dumping rain on the island their superb service turned what could have been a disappointing vacation into a memorable one.
We found their operation through PADI's website and started an e-mail correspondence several weeks before our vacation. Before we arrived we had our diving planned, they arranged for a sxcuba review session for my wife who had not dived for an extended period and arranged for Nitrox dives for me.
After we arrived at our resort, Steve called to arrange a pick-up time for us and arrived on time, not just the first time, but every day we dove with them. The weather cancelled one day of diving and we received a call advising us of that fact.
Once on the boat, which is well equipped and maintained, I was impressed with their desire to make the dives an enjoyable experience. They have a genuine concern with safety yet do not smother divers with rules that serve no purpose. All of the dives were on on interesting sites, and they will go where you want to go.
We did the "Dive and Drive" with them which was the highlight of the week. This consists of two dives off the Pitons on the southern end of the island, lunch at the fabulous Ladera Resort, and a driving tour of the island. The cost for all of that is $160US per person, which is a bargain compared to other tour prices. Although it rained the entire day of our tour, Steve and Shirley made it an enjoyable experience.
As a diving instructor, I know that setting up a dive operation takes an incredible amount of hard work and dedication. All three of the principals, Steve, Steve and Shirley are dedicated instructors who seem to be committed to giving their customers the best possible diving experience. They worked very hard to to insure that each customer had a safe and enjoyable experience.
The operation is one where both the new diver and the "pro" will feel comfortable. They delivered a great week of diving. I highly recommens Scuba Steve for divers headed to St. Lucia.

We are a family of four - two adults and children aged 12 and 15. We decided to do our enclosed water dives in the UK and picked Scuba Steve for the open water dives mainly becauase of their proximity to our hotel in Rodney Bay and we were also impressed with their professional responses to enquiries from the UK. They were really excellent - very flexible - we had to change the arrangements because one of us had a cold and this was done with no problem. They then took four people of varying degrees of confidence and ensured we all had a good time and passed!! Scuba Steve was expecially good with the most nervous of us - turning someone who didn't like getting their face wet to someone who actually could take their mask off and replace it at the bottom of the sea! All in all very highly recommended with the proximity to the main resort area in St Lucia a real bonus.

Found Scuba Steves while in St lucia. As a BSAC diver I can say these guys are top rate. Run by Steve, Shirley his wife and another Steve they could not do enough to make things run smoothley. I had 4 GREAT dives with them and infact ended up booking 4 discover diving trys for the kids. The kit is all as brand new and well serviced and cared for. Give these guys a call.

While in St. Lucia, I went diving with Scuba Steve's Diving. They seemed genuinely interested in providing a safe and fun diving experience. I am a relatively new diver, and they were very patient and helpful. This was no small feat as my previous diving experience (with another company) had been a disaster and I was very nervous about diving again. I found that they were eager to accomodate us and were able to make me feel comfortable. I would absolutely recommend this company to anyone who is nervous about diving, and also for very experienced divers as well. My husband, who is an advanced diver, also really had a great dive with them too.
