“Fabulous holiday!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 28, 2013

I have been meaning to do this for a long time.... Spent March break at this property last year and had the most wonderful vacation ever. My sister and I went for my birthday. I have looked at this hotel many times but have been unable to afford it but this time we got an early booking deal that made it possible.
This property is not new but is well-kept and comfortable. The second floor room we had overlooked the ocean and the view was beautiful. Order room service and listen to the waves in the morning.
Activities:
If you wish to be active, you can fill your days with a wide variety of activities including yoga, aqua fit, golf etc.( 6 am. to 6 pm.) The aqua fit was actually an excellent workout which is very unusual in resorts. The staff is well trained, enthusiastic and knowledgeable about their activity.
Five spa treatments are included and all of the services were excellent -- better than most I have had in Toronto. We booked at the end of the day so we could relax with a drink in our robes at the bar after and watch the sun set.
FOOD - was excellent and we ate in the gourmet restaurant twice during our stay. The main dining room was also excellent. The small sandwich bar on the beach served a great variety of things for lunch and snacks (try the smoothies). My only disappointment was that lobster etc. had an upcharge which I thought was unreasonable considering the cost of the resort.
STAFF - The staff were very accomodating and friendly always. It was such a nice treat as each guest seemed to be special. Great work!
TRIPS - We took a cab into the local town and other than a few stores and a marina there was nothing much to see. There were some nice restaurants in town but in the scheme of things, we would have preferred to stay at the hotel and enjoy the activities. If you are there for two weeks maybe a trip to Castries would be more interesting.
I was quite impressed with the number of single people at the resort. The management arranged to have a communal table if people wanted to mingle, which I thougth was exceptional.
Overall, this was an exceptional holiday and I highly recommend this resort.
TRANSPORTATION - to the resort in a 10 seater van was excellent and we stopped at some of the lookout points at the top of the mountains to view the water below. The trip back was terrible in an older bus that stopped at a variety of resorts and went very slowly up all the hills, I often wondered if we were going to make it!! It took over 2 hours. The bends and hills are not good for people who suffer from motion sickness. My sister barely made it to the airport and I was feeding her gravol. Smaller vehicles would make a much more comfortable ride.

I would definitely go here again!!!

Room Tip: Most of the rooms face the ocean -- depends on what is in front of you. We had an excellent view of...

Travelled in April 2013 late review....stayed at body holiday for 1 week, and first impressions was wow as we travelled from the airport down to our hotel which i have to say was a bumpy ride the views where stunning. Once me and my wife arrived we where greated by the friendly staff with a nice cold drink and then shown to our room (ocean facing deluxe room) the room was clean and tidy and compact....didnt miss having a tv in the room....the bathroom especially the shower was a treat.

The resort itself was clean and well maintained the beach was great and the daily spa treatments where perfect

The food was amazing and considering me and my wife have been to only 5* resorts we come to the conclusion that the best food was here....breakfast was great such a wide choice of foods, from breads, to yogurts to cereals to full english and not forgetting the pancakes with chocolate sauce and cinnamon sugar

Main meals equally good with great presentation and flavour

TAO is a must and i would highly recommend this restaurant booking required

The drinks where great and the flag system was a nice touch meaning when your on the beach you coulf raise a flag to get assistance with ordering more drinks

Big thank you to the lady who made our chocolate brownies for early lunch washed down with a fresh smoothie

negative points.....while we where at the resort there was also a group of photographers who would dominate certain areas eg piano room, infinity pool which i found a bit annoying as we where there on a holiday and didnt want to be restricted from any area

also i think during our stay there could have been a bit more caribean food for us to sample during the nights.

excursions great me and my wife opted for the early morning piton hike which took 1.5 hours to arrive and then a further 3 hours to walk up and down which was a great feeling

thanks to our rep who supported us on the way

overall a great holiday, relaxing and well pamperd would recommend to all

Room Tip: ocean facing rooms top floor

Went to St Lucia for a friends wedding. Beautiful spot. The staff is amazingly friendly. We became fast friends with Germaine and Mcgyver. Those guys are hilarious and went above and beyond on service. Of all of my travels, those two are the best resort staff I've encountered. If you're there and need anything, talk to any of the staff and they will help you out.

There were just a couple things I thought could be improved. There ought to be some kind of fair system involved in signing up for personal training and reservations at the Tao restaurant. As it stands, you're basically left to call as soon as the Activities desk or restaurant opens to book it. Guess what, so is everyone else. The last thing I want to do on my vacation is compete for a spot to go somewhere or do something I already paid for.

The spa treatments were all excellent. Make sure you try them all. I particularly enjoyed my Coconut Spice Combo with Nela.

Great vacation spot and the St Lucians were all extremely hospitable and welcoming.

Everything about this resort is spot on and a perfect place for the whole family to have fun/relax. The clubhouse/bar is such a lovely place to relax; situated over looking the beautiful beach. Supper and lunch in the bar is very nice if you want a change from the restaurant which is also a lovely venue and don't forget about afternoon tea!

Favourite activities:-

Dad - relaxing in the library
Mum - morning walk
Son (age20) - beach volley ball
Daughter (age18) - swimming in the sea

Can't wait to return ! Will have to break rule of not going to the same place twice as there can't be anywhere to suit us more.

Le Sport is a very rare place.
The luxurious St Lucia retreat combines excellent daily treatments with sports facilitates and training and sumptuous food.
But it's the people that make it rare. The staff are all expertly trained and their attention to detail is coupled with an easy authentic charm. Martin, Jermaine, Alex, and Mcgyver felt like mates by the end of our week there.
This friendliness rubs off on the guests and making friends is easy. Couples, singles and larger groups are all welcome. The uniqueness of the place is shown by the high number of frequent returners we met.

My wife and I just finished our two week December stay at the Body Holiday, LeSport. We booked through Air Canada Vacations and had an excellent flight from Toronto. We were met at the airport and immediately offered water and a snack bar. The two hour shuttle to the resort left within minutes of arrival and was an interesting ride. We were greeted at reception and efficiently taken to our room, with our luggage following shortly afterwards.

Our luxury Garden View room overlooked the resort and ocean and was very comfortable. House Keeping did an excellent job and we enjoyed our evening tea on our balcony. Having the resort built along the ocean front was also a plus.

Service at the restaurants was excellent. Food at Windows and the Deli was excellent. Food at the Cariblue and Tao restaurants was also very good. Included wines were good.

The drinks at the Club House and Piano bars were excellent. However, table service at the Club House needs improvement. Bar tenders could also smile more often. However, enjoyed our time at the Club House and did not really mind going to bar to get our drinks.

Club House bands were outstanding musicians but after a few nights found song choices to be a little repetitive. Still, they did get everyone up dancing and having a good time.

Spa facility is simply world class. Included treatments were generally good to excellent. Only a couple of our treatments were below average.

The activities and instructors is what makes this resort stand out from the others. Could not believe how they managed to achieve the consistently high standard of instruction across all activities. Lily, Edwin, Martin, Tory and the other instructors make this a very special place and are likely the main reason so many people are return customers.

Just come back from a 10 days pre-Xmas break at The Body. From the moment we arrived till we left, all the staff were most welcoming, helpful and friendly. We opted for a premier ocean room which had the most beautiful view of the bay. It was very spacious and the bed very comfortable with a choice of gorgeous pillows. The food in all the restaurants was delicious with so much to choose from and very interesting dishes to try. The desserts were particularly exceptional. There were choices of sparkling, 2 whites and 2 reds, and a Rosé, which were all very drinkable and all included in the price. There were also all sorts of cocktails, without forgetting very healthily vegetable juices and fruit smoothies, all in the all-inclusive package.

Also included are all the sports and pastimes. With so many activities on offer, you can do as little or as much as you want, in a very relaxed atmosphere. All the sports staff were very dedicated and the tuition excellent: we particularly appreciated the water sports with a very enthusiastic staff, and the expert golf tuition, the areas of activities we tried. A special mention for Lila (yoga/Pilates) and Chiara (pole exercise) who were both amazing. The special presentation of pole exercise was incredible and it was most fun to try one of the classes afterwards. Also impossible to forget the daily body treatments which were a treat.

Somehow we also found some time to relax on the beach (with the efficient staff always at hand with refreshments) and to swim/snorkel in the beautiful clear waters with fish of all sizes and colours. It was like swimming in an aquarium.

We had wished to go on the holiday of a lifetime – and the Body exceeded our expectations. Our new wish – is to go back again.
A few tips:
Money: we took EC dollars & US dollars, but US dollars most widely accepted. In resort credit card accepted for any extras.
Boutique: boutique in the resort stock everything you could possibly need or have forgotten
Mosquitoes: a few mosquitoes; took repellent and anti-Histamine stick with us which did the trick. Available in resort if needed.
Weather: sunny with a few tropical showers but always warm
Treatments: scrubs and facials at beginning of stay, aloe Vera wraps and massages at the end. If specific times wanted, book prior to arrival, though staff accommodating in changing times, though sometimes this might be difficult
Travel: Virgin Holidays were perfect. We took advantage of twilight check in and Gatwick Marriott Courtyard stay which included free parking for up to 2 weeks. With £16 extra, car was at arrival area on our return. We enjoyed helicopter transfer which was fast and gave beautiful views of the Pitons and rain forest. Arrived at resort early, had travel bag with swimming costume, could spend time on beach while waiting for luggage. Checking out at hotel was great, no queuing at the airport. Very well catered guest suite provided by hotel while waiting for departure.
