We met two fun couples on our 1st day of the cruise and hooked up for different beach days. They had made a day reservation at "Rendezvous", a couples only all inclusive hotel. The cabbies didn't want to take us as they have been told "No Cruise people!" but with a reservation, they agreed. It cost $5 each for a ride there. We paid $60 each for a full day of all inclusive and here is what we got/did... They had a lovely pool but we wanted the beach. There were 3 types of beachchairs with suncover and we opted for lovely cabanas with gossimerflowing tops. Each couple was given a flag that you would stick in the sand when you wanted your cabana boy to get you cocktails (we ran them all day) Food was included and we went up for buffet style lunch but I believe we could have had breakfast too had we been hungrey on arrival. The tables were set for fine dining and we were each brought wine of our choice. The food was wonderful as was the quiet 5 star service. We lazed on the beach and then went sailing on katamarans, also included. We tryed kayaking but it was too windy and felt too much like work, so we went sailing again. The had a boat pulling people water sking, tubing or other water sports and that was included too I think. The water was warm, clear and delightful. Water shoes would have been nice as the sand was hot. The view was spectacular and the day was heaven. I can't even imagine what a cruise ship cost would be for a day like we had. Needless to say, we eat and drank in excess and called it an early night when back on board the ship. I am so thnkful we met those wonderful people from Colorado as they sure showed us how to get our party on! Life is a Beach...now go out and explore!
