“Excellent Sunday brunch”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 20, 2013 via mobile

We heard that the Sunday Brunch was good and we were not disappointed. We checked on their website for times but there was no mention of the fact that it is a buffet, and an excellent one at that! When we entered the staff were happy for us to have a look about and even check out the buffet before we decided to stay. We chose to sit on the uppermost tier...furthest away from the live "music"!
We were encouraged to try everything and the plantain salad was excellent. But really, it was all very good. There was no problem at all about returning to the buffet table, as many times as you wished.
As others have said, the view was amazing, the staff friendly and attentive, and no bugs, but this was lunchtime!

“Fab views match the food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 20, 2013 via mobile

We ate here for the Sunday buffet. The view is the best on the island between the Pitons down to the Sugar Beach resort (although there is no path down to the beach from Ladera). The food was stunning, big variety,(ribs, beef, fish, chicken) well cooked, full of local produce in the salads and veg and very colourful. You could eat as much as you wanted. The puddings were good too, fresh fruit salad to cakes, panda cotta and bread pudding and a delicious vanilla sauce.
The downside? The band, although I use the word loosely. Too noisy, tuneless and repetitive. The restaurant should definitely get rid of them, they add nothing to the ambiance, in fact detract from it.

“Best view on the island”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 16, 2013

We had lunch at Dasheene after a morning at the botanical gardens and volcano. The view is breathtaking (right between the pitons). I had the fish cake which was good. My husband had the chicken sandwich and wasn't impressed.

The view alone makes it worth the trip!

“Spectacular sunset views and great food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 14, 2013

Go for sundowners then stay for dinner - make sure you spray against mosquitos as there are many! Great view of the sunset between the Pitons and fab cocktails. Very welcoming and friendly staff, even if you are just there for drinks and dinner (we were staying at Sugar Beach). Food was great, very knowledgeable sommelier who gave good wine recommendations. We felt though that the restaurant felt very cramped - alot of tables in a small room. Good service though, and the boutique has some lovely local crafts for sale - remember your passport if you want Duty Free.
