Description: We proudly welcome celebrated husband and wife restaurateurs, Jonas and Alexandra Millan as they unveil Le Sereno Restaurant, a brand new dining destination just as luxurious as our namesake hotel. Jonas and Alexandra also own Miami’s James Beard Award-winning restaurant, Juvia, as well as St. Barth’s Bonito. Le Sereno Restaurant demonstrates the sophisticated essence of St. Barth with a menu that seamlessly blends French fare with Asian influence and utilizes the local vibrant flavors and ingredients of the Caribbean. The menu at Le Sereno Restaurant features a wide selection of dishes, both large and small, that highlight the island’s bounty of fresh seafood, fruits, and vegetables. Guests can begin their meal with the light Seared Tuna salad with sliced scallion, grated ginger, and garlic chip citrus soy vinegar dressing; or a starter of Wagyu Dumplings with bonito flakes, micro arugula, and parsnip purée. Le Sereno will also offer an assortment of charcoal skewers “a la robata,” with options like baby lobster, Spanish octopus, and beef tenderloin. Entrées include composed dishes like the Maple Miso Seabass with eggplant chips; or Grilled Swordfish with red pepper mango chutney and baby bok choi. An abundant selection of sushi and sashimi are also available, as well as a number of signature rolls like the Sereno Roll or the Aji Amarillo Roll with tuna. Desserts are not to be missed with standout items like the Tropical Leche, a caramel panna cotta with coconut streusel and mango passion sorbet; or the Banana Filo Tart with caramelized bananas and white chocolate encased in a filo shell. Additionally private dinners and in-Villa catering are also available upon request. As with The Le Sereno Hotel it is our pleasure to serve you with an uncompromising commitment to excellence.

“Pretty restaurant, average service, average food”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed February 1, 2012

There are SO many great restaurants in St Barts it is very hard to choose. I picked this restaurant for one reason only...it advertises on its website and throughout local magazines to come on Friday for home made fresh authentic french boulibase. We had an early reservation for St. Bart standards, 8 pm. (restaurants do not get crowded until 9). They were OUT of Boulibase! The table next to us came for same reason and was dissapointed. I ordered a fish dish in a pastry, can't even remember what it was exactly, it was not memorable. Out of the 4 of us, we all decided it was the least favorite restaurant of the week, this was our last night. Our waiter spoke very, very little english. This was the first time we had a language problem on the island. We had quite a few communication problems throughout dinner. If you are going for the boulibase, call before you head over. Needless to say, we won't return next trip. If you advertise for something special...have it available! It was 8 oclock for petes sake! FYI...we loved Bonita, On the Rocks, Mayas, La Plage. All had great atmosphere with great food.

“Great setting.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 20, 2011

The setting here is really lovely (outdoors, garden like). When we got there, it was very quiet and nearly empty. We had a large comfortable table. We were given a complimentary amuse-bouche. I can't say that I was overly impressed with what I ordered, but certainly it was reasonably good (a fish soup and an artichoke salad). Service was good. My daughter was happy with her pasta dish and her dessert. The prices are high, but then again they seem to be high everywhere in St. Barth's.

“Wonderful risotto; great staff; but inconsistent menu, strange music”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 28, 2011

We dined at Pecheurs three times during our stay and enjoyed the risotto twice - both the scallop and the artichoke risotto are terrific. Our third dinner was a disappointment as we'd brought friends after raving about the risotto. Although we were the first in the restaurant, they'd run out of scallops; also out of mint, so no mohitos! Some of the meals were generous, others (the steak, in particular) were skimpy. A different set of friends had dined there the previous night and said it was the best meal of their 10-day stay. It might be a good idea to call ahead to determine what is actually on the menu. The service, however, was excellent - the wait staff was very friendly and accomodating. And the location and atmosphere is great - right on the beach. The music selection was a bit odd - with jarring rap music following some nice jazz - (jazz more in keeping with the style of the place - our friends found the rap music disturbing - they are in their late 20's but have sophisticated taste and often dine at fine restaurants).
