“Must stay, perfect combination of relaxation and sophistication.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 9, 2013

I cannot say enough good things about my stay at this hotel. It is very intimate, the staff is very attentive and service is great. I stayed in a room with a magnificent view; the first thing I saw every morning was the ocean all around me. It was one of my best wedding anniversary presents, ever. It is right on the beach. The hotel and specifically the room were impeccable which is a must for me. A healthy, tasty and great breakfast selection was included in the price. A rental car will take you anywhere in the island within 15 minutes. The car was also included in the package, somewhat pricy but worth it. I will definitely come back...

Room Tip: Try to get an ocean view room which is more like a room on the ocean.

Love, Love, Love this hotel. The location is right by Nikki Beach and honestly could not have been better!!! It was a very romantic resort. We saw mostly couples during our stay. We loved the island and this hotel! I'm dying to go back!

I have been coming here for years. The beach is truly one of he wonders of the world. Absolute heaven. Food is amazing. If it is too pricey for your budget come for the day and pay for a lounger on the beach and have lunch at the sand bar. It's worth it.

We traveled to St Bart's in March and stayed at the Eden Rock. No words to express a no stress vacation, at a luxury 10 star resort. We arrived and were met but a hotel representative. The drove us right to our room and we did a hassle free check in right there.
Our room was outstanding, a beach front villa, very clean, and continued during our 7 day stay, loved the all white clean crisp feel. Beds were very comfortable. Loved our daily breakfast and enjoyed the peace and the breathtaking views of a sparkling blue ocean. The ocean was our heaven, incredible staff in every area. Comfortable chairs, again excellent 10 star service. Had many lunches and dinners and always perfect and awesome service. We cannot wait to go back next year, when you find a place like the Eden Rock, NOTHING can compare. Worth it!!!!!

Room Tip: No pool, but who cares, the ocean is why you would want to go to St Bart's. No spa, no need but...

Our first trip to St. Barths was certainly not disappointing. The Eden Rock is an unbelievable facility. We stayed in the Rock Classic Reef room and its decor was truly stunning. The French doors opened to a spacious balcony with a beautiful view of the water. Furniture throughout was modern and comfortable. The shower alone made this room worth the money! Yes, it is on the pricey side but this place did not disappoint in terms of luxury. We were provided with a rental car or our full stay which was very convenient. It allowed us to go to Saline and Gouveneur beaches which are a definite must if you like the beach. Our favorite was Saline which had good waves for belly boarding but not so large to be dangerous. Not much shade there though so don't forget the ole sunscreen. The St. Jean beach at Eden Rock is not too shabby either! We ate lunch at Pisces which is just a stones throw from Saline and it was delicious. Food at the Eden Rock was out of this world but don't expect to get away cheaply. We also ate at le Repaire and the food was amazing and reasonably priced. Now let me finish by saying how delightful the staff was. Every single person that we encountered in this hotel was so nice to us. Fred picked us up at the airport and we saw him constantly throughout our visit. He always was so cordial and helpful with directions. The girls at the front desk were the same as were the restaurant and bar staff. I wish I was a professional writer so I could find more suitable narrative to describe these individuals! Will we go back to St Barths? You bet! In a heartbeat!! Will explore more of Gustavia next time, especially the restaurants. Shopping is not really our thing when on vacation but if you are into that you won't be disappointed. We used American money but next time we will likely take some euros with us.

Room Tip: We had a Rock Classic room (the Reef) and were very happy with it. Ask for a room with a rain shower...

Eden Rock has become one of my favorite places on the planet. The hotel has a lively, colorful environment that is warm and casual with an amazing staff and top notch dining. The staff go above and beyond to make sure you feel welcomed and will stop at nothing to ensure you are happy...they picked us up at the airport, invited us to cold drinks when we arrived, and brought us a complementary bottle of wine and fresh spring rolls in the room as a welcome. At one point, a woman approached us just to check that we were satisfied and to see if there was anything she could do for us. The complementary breakfast has delights like homemade nutella donuts, fresh mango, delicious cheeses, a multitude of breads and homemade marmelade. The two Jean-Georges restaurants have such amazing food that it was a challenge to leave the hotel to try other restaurants and even the best on the island didn't really compare. Try the hand-crafted cocktails and carmel ice cream sundae with popcorn. The room was beautiful as well with a wonderful skylight in the bathroom and cute open European shower with rain head. I can't wait to come back.

Eden Rock St Barths is truly a magical place. From the fabulous food at On the Rocks restaurant to the wonderful rock classic room(# 416) with its amazing views!!, to the beach that was incredibly relaxing and so beautiful. The service from the staff(especially Annette) was above and beyond great! Their recommendations on the other restaurants were spot on.Restaurant Le Gaiac at Hotel Le Toiny was a top five meal of all times! The mini cooper that was part of package was so much fun to drive around the island. St Barths and Eden Rock we can't wait to come back!!
