The name and location is a bit confusing...our hotel directed us to Taiwana for Italian (which doesn't sound Italian). But once arriving at Taiwana we entered Pa Cri, and finally discerned its the name of the restaurant at the hotel Taiwana - problem solved!
All in all, this was one of our favorite dining experiences, the food was very good, but the all around experience was great. The location is beautiful - right on the beach. We sat near the balcony, and it was so wonderful to hear the waves crashing as we ate. The waitstaff was very kind, and helpful and honest with menu selections - a great asset! For example, she told us which pasta we should/shouldn't order based on what is better, and house made versus dried noodles.
Both our appetizers were quite good - for me a tuna sashimi type, for my husband an eggplant Parmesan. Main courses were good as well - for me tortellini (although I didn't taste all the flavors as described) and him, a daily seafood special. Dessert was Tiramisu that was actually more like a pudding with Tiramisu flavor, but it was quite good. One really great boost to the ambiance was Solelil (?) a Spanish flamenco guitar player, who walked around the restaurant playing his guitar - it was also hooked up via sound system. He even accommodated requests made by my husband.
The food was very good, though not outstanding, the service great, location great, and ambiance great. Definitely a good, more romantic location. We didn't seem to think the menu was too small as others mentioned, however we were there in mid-December, just before Christmas so they were likely preparing for busy season. I would definitely recommend Pa Cri, and would come back.
