My family and I stayed in Saba at Willards in the Spring of '05. Saba is a magical place. We stayed a week. However one must be in shape and love the outdoors to appreciate Saba.

Willard's is situated at the top of a hill/mountain about 1000 feet above the ocean. At night you can hear the surf below and the ubiquitous goats that baah in the night. We pretty much had the whole palce to ourselves. It IS rather expensive. but I think it has the best views. We only ate breakfast at the hotel and ate lunch and dinner in town. We literally walked wherever we went. Very steep climbs on the road. I being athletic loved it. Wife complained a little. We also climbed Mt Scenery..wow what an experience. There are steps carved into the mountain..takes about 1 1/2 hours to climb.

Anyway, back to the hotel. Great place...a little overpriced though. There are no TVs and No A/C.. hoever we did not miss them. All in all my wife and my 2 kids ages 15 and 11 had a blast.

My husband and I just returned from a long weekend at Willard's and it was wonderful. We felt like part of the family and were treated as such. Corazon prepared fantastic meals! The view from the pool was beautiful and from our room even more breathtaking. The honor bar and the jacuzzi were also not to be missed highlights of the property.

have been to Saba 8 times. My wife & I love the island, the local people are extremely friendly, the Scuba is the best in the world. I wanted to write because we are having a very bad & frustrating experience. We stayed this last time at Willard's of Saba, a beautiful hotel. The issue is that upon check out we were running late to catch our plane & I didn't look over the bill as detailed as I should have. The owners charged me a 20% surcharge on the entire bill, the restaurant portion (which I didn't mind), but 20% surcharge on the room as well. That is not OK, the worst part is that I have been trying to reach the owner for over 2 months through several emails & phone calls with no reply. I don't think that Saba wants or needs bad press. I would never do anything to that end. But I am very unhappy with this.

outstanding views...wonderful food prepared by corazon...brad willard and corazon provide first class hospitality. at 2000 feet you can view the neighboring island easily...wonderful furnishings and art...we were treated as friends...not simply hotel guests...brad has a great music collection too..a once in a lifetime experience...enjoy
