have been to Saba 8 times. My wife & I love the island, the local people are extremely friendly, the Scuba is the best in the world. I wanted to write because we are having a very bad & frustrating experience. We stayed this last time at Willard's of Saba, a beautiful hotel. The issue is that upon check out we were running late to catch our plane & I didn't look over the bill as detailed as I should have. The owners charged me a 20% surcharge on the entire bill, the restaurant portion (which I didn't mind), but 20% surcharge on the room as well. That is not OK, the worst part is that I have been trying to reach the owner for over 2 months through several emails & phone calls with no reply. I don't think that Saba wants or needs bad press. I would never do anything to that end. But I am very unhappy with this.
