“Great lunch spot”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 14, 2012

We stopped by Scout's Place for a light lunch. We sat outside and enjoyed a wonderful lunch. I ordered a greek salad that was so fresh, and tasty! My husband had a ham and cheese sandwich with fries. Our waitress & service we received was good.

“Very tasty!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 20, 2012

The view is amazing on the patio. My husband had the fish and chips which were awesome and a local favoriate. I had the cheeseburger which was wonderfully seseaned and juicy. We sat next to some locals which frequent Scouts for the fish and chips! Great meal and our waitress was gracious and a true Saban! We stayed at the Julianna and it was a short walk.

“Great place to stay when diving...”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 18, 2012

Stayed two nights at Scout's place for a three day diving trip with Saba Divers. The place is clean, neat and perfect for the purpose, and the view can't be beat. The restaurant is between base level and haute cuisine - perfect for dinner after a long day of diving. Breakfast was included as well. Nice touch.

“4th year in a row and we still love it”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 13, 2012

Traveled to Saba again and as always stayed at Scout's place.

A Friend and I spent 3 days diving and 2 nights at Scouts place.

The rooms are well maintained, impeccably clean, comfortable and the view is to die for.

Towels are available for divers, Taxi's are arranged and included in the price and communication with the Hotel staff via email prior to the trip is just a breeze..... we arrived by plane and as mentioned in the email, our taxi was waiting for us!!

The food is fantastic, its good, hearty, filling food and extremely tasty. The burger is great really love the Scout's Place Burger. The bun is great and made locally on the Island.

We ate there 6 times in 3 days and were not disappointed with any of the meals.

Continental breakfast is simple but tasty and an upgrade for an American Breakfast for a few bucks is worth it.

The staff were attentive, Friendly and personable.

Barbara and Wolfgang Tooten should be extremely proud of what they have developed on Saba, a beautiful hotel on a beautiful Island.

Thank you so much and we can't wait to return.

“The Place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 7, 2012

This place is the place to be on Friday night. Place was hoping. Usually it is karoke night but during our stay it was DJ night. The place was packed with locals, medical students and Dutch Marines. We also stopped by for dinner on Saturday. Food was good and portions were large.
