“Perfect Smokehouse Meats!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 21, 2013 via mobile

I know, this isn't what I expected to eat in PR. But I am so glad we did!
Pulled pork was juicy and delicious!
Dry rubbed ribs literally fell off the bone and was wonderful!
And the chicken was smoked perfectly!
Corn bread was warm and moist but you must love butter as it's drizzled liberally with melted butter. The slaw was out tonight but we'll try again tomorrow.

“Beautiful Fresh Garden Views”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 20, 2013

Tin Box is fantastic! They have this great spot on the hill overlooking a beautiful home grown garden - something to aspire to for sure. They have freshly chucked oysters, home grown lettice and tomato salads, some sort of caramelized bacon dish that is just mouth watering and the margarita's are like the ones you would make at home - but better since you're not the one making them! Oh - and they have BBQ - the cornbread is A-MAZ-ING! The space is clean, hip with the sheet metal walls and cute touches of something artistic...a must go if you're out and about - they seem to be open a lot of the day, we ate around 3pm and it wasn't a problem

“Not so much”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 20, 2013

Our main courses arrived about 45 seconds after the appetizers - and both main courses were drenched in a spice that overpowered every other flavor in the dish -

“Great atmosphere, food average”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 19, 2013

We were here in April. We went at night time and mosquitos were out in full force. The atmosphere is casual, and great beers and oyster selection. We had the ribs with corn bread which were nothing spectacular. If you want to go and just relax, listen to good music, and drink beer its a great place.

“Food from out back”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 14, 2013

Not into the oyster thing so we stuck with the salads and BBQ. The items for the salad are grown in the backyard of the restaurant and then picked, washed, and served. The salad was great and the BBQ was pretty good too. I got the sampler and liked all of it, however none of selctions stood out more than another. Just a simple place to drop in for a quick bite. Friendly staff and enjoyed the patio seating.
