I have never before seen such an inviting beach that entices you to spend a considerable amount of time there just lounging about. The setting is gorgeous, palm trees lining the bay with the forest in the background. The water is relatively calm and easy to swim in with gently sloping sand to an extended shallow water area. The trees are numerous if you need to spend much of the time in the shade. There are bathroom and shower facilities, lounge chairs for rent, food and drink at inexpensive prices, ample parking, sercurity guards and the grounds are very well maintained. If there were water sports available, I didn't notice, but I think not since it is such a tranquil area in a very ecologically-minded vicinity of Puerto Rico. If you go here first you will be disappointed in the beaches near San Juan.
