“Fresh and Delicious Surprise”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 3, 2012 via mobile

On a trip with friends, found Lola on the corner. The coconut shrimp and maho maho wraps were delicious. Pasta dishes were smothered in delicious sauces. The Lola salad was fresh.

“Best Place in Ponce”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 24, 2012

This is by far the best place I have to eat in Ponce. The food seems fresh and the prices are very reasonable. I tried the dorado with lobster sauce, the fried chillo, the stake, to name a few. Will recommend any one of them. The only downpart is that the service is generally slow, so don't go in a hurry. But the food makes up for it, no doubt. Menu is not that big, so making your mind is easy, try the risotto, one of the best I have had.

“Great risotto!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 20, 2012 via mobile

The restaurant is located in the lobby of the Ramada hotel in the city center and has valet parking, so don't worry about that. The restaurant ambiance is very nice with high ceilings and classic decor. The cuisine is puertorrican mix with international. The house bread is very good with balsamic vinegar and grated parmesan cheese, delicious. The french pnion soup is very good along with most of the appetizers. We had a sampler with prosciuto, ropa vieja turnovers, chorizo bruschetta and fish fritters, and risotto fritters; all were very good, specially the risotto fritters and the turnovers. They have meat, fish and poultry as main courses, most of them accompanied by risotto, but you can change the side. The filet mignon and the fish with lobster sauce are very good. The chorizo risotto is the best, specially if you also have the filet mignon. It is one of the best risottos I have had. I have been a couple of times to this restaurant and would come back many times as the keep on the consistent food and service.

“Nice little spot”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 10, 2012

The food was pretty good, the ambience was great, and the service was stellar. You can't go wrong with stopping here for a nice, romantic dinner. The ceviche was really good. And the little Mediterranean side salads were delicious. Check this one out.

“EXCELLENT FOOD & SERVICE”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 27, 2012

Easy to find, Lola is in the yellow Ramada right across from Plaza Las Delicias. My wife and I went for lunch. The service was very good from beginning to end. We were seated right away and drinks and the great little loaf of bread with balsamic drizzle and Parmesan came without delay. Between my wife and I we had the Lola salad, coconut shrimp, and camarones Lola with risotto. The salad was large enough to share. The other dishes were not large portions, but definitely enough. All were really presented nicely and were delicious. The shrimps were fresh and juicy; cooked just right in both main dishes. See the pictures of all. Everything tasted even better than it looks. Again, the service was also very good. The waitress was friendly and on the spot even though she was lunch time busy.
If time allowed, Lola would have been on the short list to return to. Excellent.
